Maharashtra Board Results 2025 Expected By May 15

Over 31 lakh students await their Class 10 and 12 scores as MSBSHSE prepares for results announcement.

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is gearing up to announce the much-anticipated results for the 2025 Class 10 (SSC) and Class 12 (HSC) examinations. With over 31 lakh students awaiting their scores, the excitement and anxiety are palpable as the results are expected to be released by May 15, 2025.

According to Board Chairman Sharad Gosavi, the results for both classes will be declared by mid-May, with the official announcement expected to come as early as May 5, 2025. This timeline has students and parents eagerly preparing to check their results online. The official websites for accessing the results are mahresult.nic.in and mahahsscboard.in.

This year, the SSC examinations were conducted from February 21 to March 17, while the HSC exams took place from February 11 to March 18. The offline examinations saw a significant turnout, with more than 31 lakh registrations across both classes. In detail, over 15 lakh students registered for the Class 12 exams, comprising 8,10,348 boys, 6,94,652 girls, and 37 transgender candidates. Similarly, for Class 10, over 16 lakh students registered, including 8,64,120 boys, 7,47,471 girls, and 19 transgender candidates.

To check their results, students will need to enter their roll number and their mother's first name on the official result portal. The process is straightforward: students must visit the designated website, click on the SSC or HSC result link, fill in the required details, and submit the information to view their results.

For those looking to access their results through the Indian Express portal, students can register with their contact numbers and email IDs. This alternative method will allow them to receive their results directly via email or SMS once they are announced.

As students prepare for the results, many are reflecting on the previous year's outcomes. In 2024, the HSC results were announced on May 21, and the SSC results followed on May 27. If the current year's timeline holds true, students might receive their scores earlier than last year, which would be a relief for many.

In addition to Maharashtra, other state boards across India are also preparing to release their results. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce its Class 10 and 12 results between May 7 and May 12, 2025, with around 44 lakh students awaiting their scores. Similarly, the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) is likely to declare its results in the first week of May, while the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) is expected to follow suit.

As the academic year draws to a close, students nationwide are feeling the pressure of the impending results. The anticipation is particularly high for Maharashtra, where the MSBSHSE has a history of maintaining a commendable pass percentage.

For students in Maharashtra, the results will not only determine their immediate academic future but also influence their choices for higher education. Many students are eyeing various colleges and courses, and their performance in these board exams will play a crucial role in the admissions process.

As the results date approaches, students are encouraged to stay calm and prepared. The MSBSHSE advises students to keep their admit cards handy to avoid any last-minute issues while checking their results.

In conclusion, the Maharashtra Board exams are a significant milestone for students, and with the results expected soon, the focus now shifts to the outcomes of their hard work. The anticipation is palpable, and the next few days will be crucial for students and their families alike.
