The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has officially released the results for the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations today, May 6, 2025, at 10 AM. This announcement has brought an end to the anxious wait of approximately 18 lakh students who appeared for the exams earlier this year. The results are now accessible on the official websites, including mpbse.nic.in and mpresults.nic.in.
This year's Class 10 results show a significant improvement, with a pass percentage of 76.22%, up from last year's 68.1%. The top performer in this category is Pragya Jaiswal from Singrauli, who achieved a perfect score of 500 out of 500, marking a remarkable accomplishment for the students of Madhya Pradesh.
For Class 12, the overall passing percentage stands at 74.48%. The top scorer, Priyal Dwivedi, also shone brightly, securing 492 out of 500 marks. Other notable performers include Ankur Yadav in Humanities, Gargi Agrawal in Science with Biology, Rimjhim Karothiya in Commerce, and Hari Om Sahu in Agriculture.

For those who did not pass, the MP government has introduced the ‘Rukk Jaana Nahi’ scheme. This initiative allows students to reappear for the MPBSE Class 10 High School and Class 12 Higher Secondary exams if they do not meet the passing criteria of 33% in both theory and practical examinations.
This year, a total of 212 students made it to the Class 10 toppers' list, with 144 of them being girls, showcasing a commendable performance by female students. The top-performing district in the MP Board results is Narsinghpur, which has outperformed other districts.
In addition to checking results online, students also have the option to access their marksheets via SMS. To do this, they need to send an SMS in the format of "MPBSE10 " to the mobile number 56263. This provides another avenue for students to receive their results directly on their phones.
For those unsatisfied with their scores, MPBSE has provisions for re-evaluation and supplementary exams. Students can apply for re-evaluation if they believe there has been an error in their evaluation. The re-evaluation process involves checking the total marks awarded in each subject, while the reverification process includes a thorough review of the answer sheets to ensure all answers were assessed correctly.
Students who fail to clear one or more subjects will have a second chance through compartment exams, which will be scheduled separately by MPBSE. Fresh admit cards will be issued for these examinations, ensuring that students are adequately prepared for their second attempt.
The MPBSE Class 10 exams were conducted between February 27 and March 19, 2025, while the Class 12 exams took place from February 25 to March 25, 2025. All examinations were held in offline mode at designated centers across Madhya Pradesh.
As students celebrate their achievements or prepare for future opportunities, the MPBSE results reflect both academic success and the resilience of students across the state. With the introduction of supportive measures like the ‘Rukk Jaana Nahi’ scheme, the Madhya Pradesh government aims to ensure that every student has the opportunity to succeed.
In conclusion, the MPBSE results for 2025 not only highlight the academic prowess of students but also the ongoing efforts of the Madhya Pradesh government to support education and facilitate student success.
