The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has officially declared the Class 10 and Class 12 results for 2025, marking a significant moment for over 16 lakh students across the state. The results were announced on May 6, 2025, at 10 AM by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav during a press conference, where he praised the hard work of the students and the educational institutions.
This year, the Class 10 results showcased an impressive overall pass percentage of 76.22%, the highest recorded in the past 15 years. Pragya Jaiswal from Singrauli emerged as the top scorer, achieving a perfect score of 500 out of 500. Following her were Ayush Dwivedi with 499 marks and Sahijah Fatima with 498 marks, highlighting the competitive spirit among students in Madhya Pradesh.
In addition to the commendable performances, the results indicated a positive trend in student achievements, with a total of 613,414 students passing the Class 10 exams out of 804,768 who appeared. The MPBSE noted that the exams for Class 10 were conducted from February 27 to March 19, 2025.
For Class 12, the overall pass percentage stood at 74.48%. Priyal Dwivedi from Satna topped this category with remarkable performance, reflecting the dedication of students in higher secondary education. The Class 12 exams were held from February 25 to March 25, 2025.
As part of the board's commitment to support all students, those who did not pass will have the opportunity to take supplementary exams, allowing them to improve their scores without having to wait an entire year. The MPBSE is expected to announce the schedule and application process for these supplementary exams shortly on their official website.
Students need to secure a minimum of 33% in each subject and an overall average of 33% to be declared pass. The board has also opened a re-evaluation process for students who feel their scores do not reflect their performance accurately. This process will allow them to apply for a thorough review of their answer sheets.
The results have been made accessible through various platforms, including the official websites mpbse.nic.in and mpresults.nic.in. Students can check their marks by entering their roll number and application number. Additionally, the results are available via SMS and on the MPBSE mobile app, ensuring that all students have multiple avenues to access their performance.
In a notable shift, government schools have recorded a better pass percentage compared to non-government schools for the first time since 2022, with 77.59% of government students passing in Class 10 and 75.79% in Class 12. This statistic reflects ongoing efforts to enhance educational standards in government institutions.
The top-performing district for both Class 10 and Class 12 results was Narsinghpur, with a pass percentage of 92.73% for Class 10 and 91.91% for Class 12. This achievement underscores the district's commitment to educational excellence and effective teaching strategies.
Moreover, the results revealed that girls outperformed boys in both classes. In Class 10, 79.27% of girls passed compared to 73.21% of boys, while in Class 12, 77.55% of girls passed against 71.37% of boys. This trend highlights the growing academic success of female students in the region.

Students can choose from Science, Commerce, or Arts, and are encouraged to seek guidance from academic counselors to make informed decisions based on their interests and career aspirations.
