Madhya Pradesh Board Declares 2025 10th And 12th Results

Record pass rates achieved as students celebrate academic success and future exam changes announced

The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) officially declared the results for the 10th and 12th-grade examinations on May 6, 2025, marking a significant moment for students across the state. The results were announced during a press conference held at Samatva Bhavan in Bhopal, led by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav.

This year saw a remarkable turnout, with a total of 16,60,252 students registering for the exams, including 9,53,777 for the 10th grade and 7,06,475 for the 12th grade. The results are accessible on the official websites, mpbse.nic.in and mpresults.nic.in, as well as through the Digilocker platform, which allows students to download their digital mark sheets securely.

In a notable achievement, the MP Board 10th results broke a 15-year record, with 76.42% of students passing, compared to last year’s 58.10%. The 12th-grade results also showed improvement, with a passing percentage of 74.28%. This year's statistics reflect a positive trend in student performance, highlighting the efforts of educators and the dedication of the students.

Among the top performers, Priyal Dwivedi from Satna topped the 12th grade with an impressive score of 492 out of 500 marks. In the 10th grade, Pranjal Jaiswal from Singrauli achieved a perfect score of 500 out of 500, showcasing the high caliber of students in the state.

The results also revealed a significant gender achievement: of the 212 total toppers across both grades, 144 were girls, demonstrating a growing trend of female academic excellence in Madhya Pradesh. In the 10th grade, the top 10 list comprised seven girls and three boys, reinforcing the narrative of female empowerment in education.

Students can check their results using various methods. Besides the official websites, they can also receive their results via SMS by sending a message formatted as "MPBSE10 Roll Number" to 56263. Additionally, the MPBSE Mobile App and the Digilocker app provide convenient options for result access.

As per the examination regulations, students must score a minimum of 33% in each subject to pass. Those who fail in one or two subjects will have the opportunity to take supplementary exams, while students failing in more than two subjects will need to retake the entire year's exam. This policy aims to provide students with multiple chances to succeed, alleviating some of the pressures associated with high-stakes testing.

Looking ahead, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav announced that starting next year, the MP Board exams will be conducted twice a year, likely in July and August. This change is expected to offer students more flexibility and reduce the stress related to a single examination period. “Students who do not succeed this year will not have their academic year wasted; they will have another chance to prove themselves,” said Dr. Yadav during the announcement.

In 2024, the MP Board 10th results were declared on April 24, with a total of 8,27,563 students registered, of which 8,21,545 appeared for the exams. Last year, the best-performing district was Narsinghpur, which recorded a pass percentage of 80.51%. This year, Narsinghpur maintained its reputation for excellence, continuing to lead in educational achievements.

For those eager to see their results, the process is straightforward. Students need to visit the official MPBSE website, locate the results link, and enter their roll number and date of birth to access their scores. The mark sheets will also be available at their respective schools following the official announcement.

As the education landscape in Madhya Pradesh evolves, the board's initiatives reflect a commitment to improving student outcomes and ensuring equitable access to educational opportunities. The MPBSE's efforts to modernize result announcements through digital platforms and SMS services exemplify a broader trend towards integrating technology in education.

In summary, the 2025 MP Board results not only highlight the academic achievements of students but also set the stage for future improvements in the educational framework of Madhya Pradesh. With the introduction of biannual exams and a focus on student support, the board is paving the way for a more resilient and successful student body.
