Lucie Lucas And Victoria Abril Remain Divided Amid Ongoing Feud

The actresses' public dispute escalates without signs of resolution as tensions linger.

Lucie Lucas and Victoria Abril, two well-known actresses from the French television show Clem, are still entrenched in their public dispute, and it appears there’s little hope for reconciliation. Lucas, 38, has shared insights on their deteriorated relationship following her serious allegations against Abril, detailing her feelings during recent media interviews.

The quarrel erupted back in December 2023, when Lucas accused Abril of various aggressions, including sexual ones, against co-stars. The tensions peaked after Abril expressed her support for Gérard Depardieu, who faced serious allegations of sexual violence at the time. Lucas labeled Abril as a "boomer degenerate," expressing her outrage, which ignited significant backlash and media discussions.

More than a year later, during the promotion of the newest episode of Clem aired on February 24, 2025, Lucas spoke out again, clarifying the state of her relationship with Abril. When asked directly by La Provence if she had reconciled with the actress, Lucas firmly stated, "Non pas du tout" (not at all). She went on to explain, "Je lui avais proposé une médiation mais elle l’a refusée" (I had proposed mediation, but she refused it). This confrontation reveals not only the bitterness between them but also indicates some underlying expectations. Abril had reportedly sought apologies from Lucas, which Lucas categorically declined, stating, "I will not apologize... she said everywhere she would file a defamation lawsuit against me, but of course, she has not done it."

Despite the tension, Lucas attempted to express her desire for some form of resolution. "I said it burdens me to harm these ties... but she told me I meant nothing to her," Lucas elaborated. This quote highlights the depth of the conflict, with both parties feeling wronged yet unwilling to budge.

A little less than two months after the initial accusations, Agustín Galiana, another actor from Clem, voiced his thoughts on the feud. He remarked on the delicate nature of their relationship, hoping they might resolve it positively. "Each reacted with the love they have for each other," he said, adding, "Sometimes, when we care deeply, we say things we don’t mean. I prefer to keep good energy around me." Galiana’s comments reflect the complexity of interpersonal relationships within their tightly-knit acting community.

Lucas has acknowledged reflecting on her approach to the situation, stating, "Si c’était à faire, je le referais. Mais pas sous cette forme" (If I had to do it, I would do it again. But not this way). She expressed regret over the impulsivity at the moment but felt justified based on the seriousness of the allegations surrounding Abril. Lucas appears to have mixed feelings, torn between her respect for Abril as her mentor and her convictions stemming from the accusations.

Lucas maintains her stance, declaring, "Je pense que Victoria et moi, on est irréconciliables" (I think Victoria and I are irreconcilable). This statement suggests she sees no pathway forward and hints at the emotional toll this nickname carried. Their public exchanges reveal two actresses caught up not only in the drama of the series but also the complex web of personal grievances. Yet, the overarching sentiment reflects a wounded friendship overshadowed by serious accusations.

The absence of Abril’s character, Caro, from the recent episode of Clem speaks volumes about the rift between the two stars. Lucas noted, "Ça aurait été elle ou moi" (It would have been her or me), implying the lengths to which she believes the feud has escalated.

The tension remains palpable as Lucas and Abril continue to navigate the fallout from their very public dispute. Whether they will ever mend their differences remains uncertain, but what is clear is the significant impact this feud has had on their professional and personal lives.

While time may heal some wounds, for Lucie Lucas and Victoria Abril, it seems the scars from their public dispute may endure, making reconciliation far from possible for now.
