Leon Thomas Set To Make Penn State Debut Concert

Tickets are on sale now for a performance by musician and producer Leon Thomas at Eisenhower Auditorium on March 25.

UNIVERSITY PARK — Leon Thomas, known for his soulfully dramatic, rock-R&B sound, will make his Penn State debut with a live concert at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Eisenhower Auditorium, where he will perform songs from his newest album, "Mutt." Tickets are now available, starting at 10 a.m. today, March 13, 2025, for the performance. Reserved-seat tickets are priced at $10 for University Park students and $25 for non-students. Tickets can be purchased online, by phone at 814-863-0255, or in person from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekdays at Eisenhower Auditorium.

Notably, Leon Thomas boasts impressive collaborations with icons across the pop and hip-hop realms. He has contributed to or produced songs for renowned artists including Ariana Grande, Toni Braxton, Jack Harlow, Post Malone, Rick Ross, and Jay-Z. His work culminated in earning a Grammy Award for his contributions to the hit song “Snooze” by SZA, recognized at the 2024 Grammy Awards.

Reflecting on his latest project, "Mutt," Thomas merges various musical influences, conjuring bands and albums from different eras to create his sound. “‘Mutt’ unites Thomas’ love of jazz icons like Art Blakey and Miles Davis with neo-soul and rock acts like Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin to forge sleek jams with a contemporary edge,” said the Grammy Awards reporter.
