As a result of the revisions, the experience requirement for the Principal's position has notably increased from 8 years to 12 years, while Vice Principals now need at least 3 years of experience, a significant change impacting many applying for higher roles.

Moreover, the minimum age requirement for the Headmaster position has been set at 35 years, which has become an obstacle for many Primary Teachers (PRTs) previously eligible at a younger age.
