Kursk residents are set to experience planned power outages next week as part of necessary maintenance and upgrades to the electrical grid. Starting from March 17, 2025, significant work will take place in the Central District. Residents of the 1st to 6th Planernye side streets can expect power interruptions from March 17 to March 19, between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. Additionally, on March 17 through March 20, electricity will be unavailable at houses numbered 16 to 28 on Shkolnaya Street and 23 to 47, as well as 30 to 64 on Shkolny side street during the same time frame.
On March 20, power outages will occur from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM along several streets in the Central District, including Ponizovka Street (houses numbered 45-71, 44-50b, 48/1-48/9), the 1st Ponizovsky side street, 3rd and 4th Ponizovsky side streets, as well as Berezovaya Street (houses 6, 6a-22a) and Nizhnyaya Kazatskaya Street (houses 303-315, 300-314, 289B-299, and 294-298A). Other impacted areas include 8 Log and other adjacent streets.
In the Seimsky District, outages will be observed from March 17 to March 21, with electricity cut off daily between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM. The streets affected include Trubnaya, Iskristskaya, and Izumrudnaya, along with 2nd and 3rd Kislinskaya as well as 2nd Stepnaya streets. This interruption similarly extends to local side streets including 5th and 6th Stepnoy streets, and Poselkovaya street.
On March 18, 2025, power interruptions from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM will further affect Sumskaya Street, specifically homes 38A, 40, 40A, 40B, 42A, 46, 46A, and 46B.
A further round of outages is scheduled for March 20 in the Seimsky District, cutting off power from 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM on Zavodskaya Street as well as Olshanskogo and several Pigoreva areas.
The Zheleznodorozhny District will experience similar disruptions from March 17 to March 21, with electrical service cut off from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM along Kotlyakova Street and Kievskaya Street in designated sections. The schedule includes numerous house numbers that will lose electricity throughout these dates.
