Kuroda Celebrates Fatherhood With Kamaitachi On MBS

Two humorous television specials explore parenting and laughter with beloved comedians.

On March 15, 2025, Messengers' Kuroda made his presence felt on MBS TV's program Kamaichi no Shirankedo, where he openly shared his feelings about becoming a new father. Titled "Messenger Kuroda's Drive Trip to Celebrate Childbirth! Congratulations on the Birth of Your First Child! Mr. Kuroda Will Be Happy If We Celebrate the Birth, Shirankedo," this episode featured Kuroda alongside fellow comedians Kamaitachi, comprising Kenshi Yamauchi and Ryuichi Hamaie, engaging in heartfelt discussions aboard their traveling camper.

The show kicked off with Hamaie excitedly asking Kuroda if he finds his newborn child adorable. Kuroda, expressing some apprehensions, answered, "Of course, the child is cute, but not to the extent of hurting my eyes," as he pondered aloud whether it was cold-hearted not to fully embrace his newborn's cuteness right from the start. Hamaie quickly reassured him by stating, "The child was very cute from the moment he was born," leaving Kuroda feeling relieved when Yamauchi chimed in, saying, "The child was getting cuter and cuter," indicating some resemblance to Kuroda himself.

To make the experience even more special, the production team arranged for gifts from Akachan Honpo, providing Kuroda with necessary baby products. Both Hamaie and Yamauchi, now seasoned fathers, shared their knowledge on what essentials are required for parenting. Their camaraderie and guidance played a significant role as they attempted to ease Kuroda’s worries.

Later, the crew headed to Horumon Shouda, a beloved restaurant of Kuroda’s. Inviting friends to celebrate his parenting milestone, Kuroda jokingly remarked about the gathering comprising many familiar faces including MBS employees and announcer Tomomi Takekawa, along with Savannah’s Masumi Hachimaki, stating, "Isn't this too plain?" The gathering was filled with laughter, but Kuroda was also taken aback by the humorous complaints about his new fatherhood responsibilities as they quipped, "You shouldn’t do this as a parent," leaving him somewhat flustered yet entertained.

This delightful aspect of life and humor brought together Kuroda’s world as he navigated parenthood with the support of experienced peers. The show ended on a light-hearted note, giving viewers insight not only to Kuroda’s personal transformations but also to the many facets of friendship and comedic camaraderie.

On the next day, March 16, 2025, audiences can look forward to another special program airing, titled Nakagawa-ke & Kamaitachi's Love Neta 2025, which centers around Nakagawa-ke (Tsuyoshi and Reiji) alongside Kamaitachi, delving deep within the "theory of laughter." Scheduled to be broadcast from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM as part of MBS TV's Spring Variety Festival running from March 14 to March 16, this program promises excitement as these two comedic duos share their insights, celebrating the joy of laughter.

The variety show will feature Nakagawa-ke and Kamaitachi viewing sketches performed by popular comedians and explaining what they enjoy most within the comedic craft. Adding to the excitement is the extraordinary collaboration between Nakagawa-ke and Black Mayonnaise, marking yet another highlight of the festival.

Fans can expect vibrant discussions on comedy, entertainment, and the dynamism of performer traits from the seasoned comedians, who resonate with laughter and its importance to both their personal lives and careers alike. The programming serves to reinforce their love for comedy and showcases the passions they share as entertainers.

Overall, both shows create unique windows showcasing the growth of Kuroda as he embraces life’s biggest challenge alongside the humor-infused experiences granted by his friends, making not only for heartwarming television but also reinforcing the bonds of friendship cultivated through laughter.
