In a vibrant showcase of collaboration, KTC has partnered with Qantas to unveil a unique travel campaign titled 'One Journey, Two Worlds: The Best of Australia and New Zealand with QANTAS'. This initiative aims to create enriching travel experiences that blend culture, nature, food, and learning, appealing particularly to Thai families and younger travelers.
Qantas, one of Australia’s leading airlines, has been connecting Thailand to Australia for over 65 years, offering daily flights from Bangkok to Sydney. The airline operates more than 700 flights annually, providing around 180,000 seats to travelers. With its extensive network, Qantas ensures seamless connections to various destinations across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands.
Simon Smith, Qantas's General Manager for Southeast Asia and South Asia, emphasized the airline's commitment to enhancing the travel experience for Thai passengers. He stated, "We are excited to offer our customers a comprehensive travel experience that goes beyond just flying. Our focus is on providing opportunities for cultural exchange and exploration."
As part of the campaign, Qantas has introduced the 'Qantas Explorer' service, which allows passengers to book multi-city tickets within Australia and New Zealand at attractive prices. This service is particularly beneficial for those looking to explore multiple destinations during their travels.
Lesley Dumbrell, a renowned Australian artist, highlighted the deep connection between art and travel in Australia. She noted, "Australia is a source of inspiration for artists around the world. Its diverse landscapes, from the red deserts of Uluru to the Great Barrier Reef, foster creativity and innovation. Travelers can find a wealth of artistic expression here that resonates with their own experiences."
Donnah Ciempka, President of AustCham Thailand, emphasized the importance of education in shaping travel choices, especially for families. She remarked, "Education is a key motivator for families choosing Australia and New Zealand as travel destinations. The emphasis on creative thinking and cultural diversity in these countries provides an enriching environment for children and adults alike."
Mrs. Samantha Proyrungtong, founder of Bangkok Foodies, praised Australia’s culinary scene, calling it one of the most vibrant in the world. "The fusion of various cultures has created a unique culinary identity known as Modern Australian Cuisine. Travelers can enjoy innovative dishes that reflect both traditional and contemporary influences, making Australia a must-visit for food lovers," she said.
To promote this enriching travel experience, KTC is offering exclusive benefits for its members, including a discount of 1,000 baht per booking for Qantas flights to Australia and New Zealand. Additionally, the F.I.T. Package, which includes Qantas flights and four nights of accommodation, is available for 40,000 baht per person, targeting groups of 10 to 20 travelers.
