KPN Launches Free Streaming Subscriptions For Loyal Customers

The telecom giant rewards users combining mobile and internet services with Netflix and ESPN benefits.

Marieke Snoep, KPN's Chief Consumer Market officer, stated, "KPN is the pioneer in the telecomm market with the combination of fixed and mobile services and is once again coming up with a first." This new offer targets the over 1.3 million customers who already take advantage of KPN's combined services. This enticing promotion aims to boost customer satisfaction and loyalty even more.

Starting immediately, eligible customers can choose between Netflix and ESPN as part of this offer, all of which can be activated seamlessly through the MijnKPN app. But that's not all! KPN has introduced a points system, which allows customers to actually switch their streaming service monthly if they wish. Customers earning additional points can also access other streaming services, like Disney+ or HBO Max.

Under this new rewards system, customers are categorized according to three levels, each of which provides access to different benefits. For example, those on 'level 1' will receive access to Netflix's Basic plan, which is typically worth €9 per month and allows viewing on one device at lower HD resolution. Customers at 'level 2' can earn access to Netflix Standard, which offers viewing on two devices at Full HD resolution, along with other options.

This exciting offer follows KPN's previous loyalty initiatives, which included double mobile data and increased internet speeds. The new streaming benefit is seen as the next logical step to keep customers engaged and satisfied.

KPN aims to appeal to more of its clients.
