KPN has rolled out exciting new updates to its 'Combivoordeel' loyalty program, allowing customers to receive free subscriptions to popular streaming services like Netflix or ESPN. This enhancement is aimed at rewarding loyal customers who hold both fixed and mobile services with the provider.
More than 1.3 million KPN customers who combine their fixed and mobile subscriptions can now enjoy this new benefit. The initiative is part of KPN's commitment to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Previously, the program offered discounts of up to €7.50 on monthly bills, double data for mobile services, and €5 off any streaming service. These incentives have now transformed, providing customers with the option of either free Netflix (valued at €8.99) or ESPN Complete (valued at €14.99). This substantial upgrade presents greater value for KPN users.
To explain the new system, customers with both KPN home internet and mobile subscriptions are considered at level 1. For those wishing to attain higher levels of rewards, additional services such as TV packages, Multisim for smartwatches, or extra mobile subscriptions are required. At level 1, customers can avail not only the free Netflix or ESPN subscription but also maintain existing discounts on their mobile plans.
Progressing to level 2 introduces access to HBO Max and Disney+, and level 3 enables subscriptions to Videoland as well. This tiered reward system encourages users to consolidate their services with KPN to reap more benefits.
Marieke Snoep, KPN’s Board Member responsible for the Consumer Market, expressed, "KPN is at the forefront of combining fixed and mobile services and brings another innovative offering. And it works, because customers who combine multiple KPN services are happier and more loyal. That’s what we aim for!"
The new offering aligns with KPN’s initiative of ‘combine more, get more,’ which appeals equally to both potential and existing customers. Those who engage multiple forms of service from KPN can enjoy various additional incentives, ensuring they receive the best possible value.
Starting today, the activation of these incentives can be accomplished through the ‘MijnKPN’ app, demonstrating KPN’s dedication to leveraging technology for customer convenience. Customers can manage their subscriptions easily and even switch their monthly gift options as desired.
Importantly, current customers who have combined internet, TV, and multiple mobile subscriptions will receive benefits like the recording package as a bonus, as well as exclusive priority customer service through KPN Service Plus. Those under the Service Plus program will also enjoy a 50% discount on phone accessories purchased from KPN stores.
For prospective customers, KPN presents attractive offers to entice them to switch providers. New customers signing up for the 2-year Internet & TV package can enjoy their first year for just €35 per month or opt for €250 worth of Albert Heijn grocery credit. Similarly, those preferring a 1-year contract can pay only €35 per month for the first six months or receive €125 Albert Heijn credit.
The updates to the KPN Combivoordeel strategy are not surprising considering the competitive nature of today's market, where many providers are vying to attract customers from one another. By enhancing their offerings, KPN seeks to secure existing customers' loyalty and catch the attention of new clients.
The commitment to providing added value to loyal customers and ensuring satisfaction signifies KPN’s strategic approach to stand out amid competitors.
