The upcoming movie promises charm and emotional depth with Koki leading the cast alongside Watanabe Keisuke and Tsuna Kei.

Model and actor Koki, leads the cast of the highly anticipated film "女神降臨" (Falling Goddess), set for release this spring. This fashionably captivating romantic comedy boasts not only Koki's magnetic performance but also engaging character dynamics with fellow actors Watanabe Keisuke and Tunakino.

On February 5, the same day as Koki's 22nd birthday, the film's latest trailer and promotional poster were unveiled, heightening excitement among fans. The movie presents the life of the lead character, Reina, who undergoes a remarkable transformation from being bullied and withdrawn to becoming the eye-catching "goddess" thanks to her discovery of makeup. The film is structured as two parts: the first, "Before High School Debut," scheduled for release on March 20, and the second, "After Proposal," slated for May 1.

The film's narrative revolves around Reina, struggling with her identity as she seeks to balance her glamorous new life with the hidden secret of her bare face. Koki expressed her enthusiasm, stating, "I feel honored to take part in such a fresh and sparkling romantic comedy, often bringing back old memories from my childhood during filming." Reina's encounter with charismatic makeup artist Selena, played by actress Emi Suzuki, sparks her interest and passion for beauty.

Emi Suzuki shared her personal reflection: "It was my first movie role in quite some time, and being involved was very fresh and exciting. My character, the charismatic makeup artist Selena, serves as the catalyst for Reina's societal transformation, making every line I delivered carry substantial meaning. I approached the performance by recalling successful makeup artists from the industry to embody this vibrant character."

Also featured is Kenjirou Tsuda as Kanda Takao, who plays the father of one of Reina's love interests. Tsuda stated, "I was surprised to receive the offer to appear in this youthful romantic comedy, as it was outside my usual roles. But reading the script revealed not just romance but growth, which prompted me to smile. The unique elements and captivating characters were truly enjoyable to experience creatively."

Adding to the film's charm, the main theme song, titled "ときめき" (Tokimeki), will be performed by the rising singer-songwriter Kucci. Kucci reveals, "While my debut single is pop-oriented, I made sure it goes beyond being simply upbeat. It reflects the protagonist Reina's insecurities and her struggle for self-acceptance, ensuring the essence of not giving up on her ideal self is conveyed." Kucci noted how her interaction with Koki left her with joy, stating, "Koki's kind and approachable nature was evident during our time together, emphasizing my growing affection for the film. I hope this song brings excitement to the fans of 'Falling Goddess.'"

The film is based on the popular webcomic "女神降臨" (Falling Goddess) created by Yaongyi, which has captivated the hearts of Generation Z since its debut on LINE Manga in 2018. Featuring rich character portrayals and engaging makeup tips, the comic blends the themes of beauty and entertainment seamlessly.

With its dramatic plot arc, "Falling Goddess" promises numerous charm points, from romantic tension to heartwarming moments, making it highly anticipated by viewers of all ages. The intricacies of Reina's relationships with her male counterparts, Kanda Shun (Watanabe Keisuke) and Igarashi Yu (Tsuna Kei), add layers of complexity to the sweet love story at hand.

Fans of Koki and the cast can look forward to the two-part movie event, expected to deliver moments of laughter, inspiration, and emotional depth as they immerse themselves in Reina's captivating world of self-discovery and romance.
