Kings League Brasil Unveils Teams And Presidents

The inaugural season features ten teams led by influencers and promises unique soccer experiences.

The Kings League Brasil was officially unveiled on Monday evening, the 24th, showcasing ten teams and their crests for the inaugural competition. Each team, which will feature two prominent co-presidents, is poised to shake up the Brazilian sports scene.

Among the key highlights from the announcement was the involvement of social media sensations such as MC Hariel, who will preside over Funkbol Clube, and the well-known influencer Luva de Pedreiro, who co-leads Capim FC. The launch event was also marked by the draft, where teams selected their players, filling rosters with both seasoned and new talent eager to compete.

To understand the Kings League, it’s important to note its roots: the league is based on 7-a-side football, created by former Barcelona defender Gerard Piqué. This tournament introduces innovative rules, such as the “secret weapon” which allows for strategic advantages like goals counting double or introducing a penalty kick executed by the team president during the second half.

Hailed as one of the world's premier fut-7 competitions, the Kings League gained remarkable traction among Brazilian fans, leading to excitement for its local debut this year with ten clubs participating. The league was conceptualized by Piqué, alongside popular streamer Ibai Llanos and CEO Oriol Querol, aiming to create a more dynamic and engaging soccer format for younger viewers.

Among the confirmed social media figures set to lead teams are Gaules, Coringa, and Nobru, who attract large followings on various platforms. The league's strategy hinges on the idea of leveraging these influencers, as they not only bring attention but also vast audiences to the games.

The Brazilian division of Kings League will kick off its inaugural season sometime between March and May 2025. The clubs are already gearing up for the championship, which is expected to be streamed live via official league channels, including those of the team presidents as well as CazéTV on both Twitch and YouTube.

The participating teams include:

  • G3X FC (Gaules)

  • FURIA FC (Cris Guedes and Neymar)

  • Loud Sports Club (Coringa)

  • Nyvelados FC (Nyvi Estephan and Bruno Soares)

  • Dendele FC (Luquet4 and Paulinho O Loko)

  • Fluxo FC (Cerol and Nobru)

  • Capim FC (Jon Vlogs and Luva de Pedreiro)

  • Funkbol Clube (Kondzilla and Michel Elias)

  • Desimpedidos Goti (Toguro and Yuri)

  • FC Real Elite (Ludmilla and Allan ‘oestagiario' Rodrigues)

During the draft, Neymar, who is not only the president but also the co-owner of FURIA FC, expressed his desire to take part on the field. While he will primarily be managing his team alongside his business partner Cris Guedes, Neymar indicated his interest to play, particularly aiming to feature against G3X FC, led by Gaules and Kelvin Oliveira. Notably, presidents are permitted to play if they substitute for one of the team's wild cards, or high-profile players.

The competitive format of the Kings League also includes other exciting events such as the World Cup of National Teams and the Club World Championship, which will generate additional intrigue. Though the local matches will be held through the week — primarily on Mondays — the game schedule allows for flexibility with potential Saturday double-headers.

Stadium details remain unconfirmed, but the matches are set to take place at a purpose-built arena located in Guarulhos, São Paulo, mimicking the designs used by other leagues globally. Tickets are anticipated to be available for purchase, though specifics about sales have yet to be announced.

Social media has already begun buzzing with anticipation as fans take to various platforms to discuss the formation of their favorite teams and the potential rivalries brewing even before the season kicks off.

The Kings League Brasil is set to offer soccer enthusiasts not just games but a unique experience infused with digital engagement, making it one of the most watchable additions to the Brazilian sports entertainment scene.
