Kings League Brasil Unveils Star-Studded Team Presidents

Former players and influencers lead ten teams with unique identities and vibrant rosters.

The Kings League Brasil is gearing up for its inaugural season, spotlighting notable figures from the sports and entertainment industries. Among them is the legendary former player Zé Roberto, renowned for his illustrious stints with Palmeiras, Santos, and Bayern Munich. Now donning the colors of Fluxo FC, Zé Roberto expressed his excitement about this new venture, stating, "This is going to be the biggest challenge of my life. I’m going to participate in the Kings League and play alongside younger players. It’s time to push myself out of my comfort zone. I’m ready to give it my all." This marked his first appearance as a participant of the Kings League Brasil, and he was present at the ceremony of the draft event taking place on February 25.

The duo behind Fluxo FC, Lúcio "Cerol" Santos and Bruno "Nobru" Goes, played pivotal roles in bringing Zé Roberto on board. Explaining how their collaboration began, he detailed, "(Cerol and I) met during competitions where we played together and kept in touch. When Cerol invited me, I had to accept—it’s the Kings League, and Fluxo is a big name."

On the same day, another significant announcement was made: the influencer and social media sensation Iran Ferreira, famously known as Luva de Pedreiro, was appointed as the president of Capim FC, sharing the role with Jon Vlogs. The announcement created considerable buzz during the draft event held earlier. Luva, famous for his viral videos and unique phrases, aims to invigorate the team's identity and engage fans. "I’m excited to be part of this team and will even take on penalty kicks. Just gotta remind the players to toughen up!" he joked, efficiently showcasing his personality.

Capim FC also introduced plans for an unusual mascot, which will be depicted as a donkey on game days, adding to the fun atmosphere of the Kings League. Jon Vlogs stated, "With all the professionalism from the players, we wanted some entertainment. Luva and I bring the humor and the content!"

The draft itself was a defining moment, determining the complete rosters for each of the ten teams scheduled to participate. This event, structured similarly to drafts used in major professional leagues, featured players who previously showcased their abilities through technical evaluations. Among the players selected were talents like Kelvin Oliveira, identified as the world's best fut7 player.

Speaking of Kelvin, he made headlines by announcing his commitment to the Kings League alongside streamer Gaules as president of G3X FC. After being approached by Neymar to potentially join Santos, Kelvin chose to stay within the fut7 arena, reflecting his decision by saying, "I appreciated Neymar's invitation; he is the idol of our generation. I decided to remain with the Kings League."

Neymar himself took on the role of president for Furia FC, collaborating with friend Cris Guedes. At the launch event, Neymar dedicated time to select players, employing the draft system as seen across major leagues, which was set to determine the roster of 222 players. He articulated his excitement, saying, "This league is unique since it gives opportunities to players who might have struggled to gain recognition. It’s different and fantastic for young talents like those involved."

The Kings League Brasil will feature ten teams, with rosters comprising notable athletes and novices alike. Each team’s president brings distinct flair, from musicians and influencers to sports legends. Here, we summarize the full roster of teams and their respective leaders:
