The results of the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination 2025 in Kerala were officially announced on Friday, May 9, 2025, by Education Minister V Sivankutty during a press conference held at 3 PM. The results will be available across multiple online platforms by 4 PM the same day, allowing over 4 lakh students to check their performance after weeks of anticipation.

This year, a total of 4,27,021 students participated in the SSLC exams, which were conducted from March 3 to March 26, 2025, across 2,964 centres in Kerala, as well as additional centres in Lakshadweep and the Gulf region. Among these candidates, 2,17,696 were boys and 2,09,325 were girls.

The overall pass percentage for the 2025 SSLC examinations stands at an impressive 99.5%, with 4,24,583 students qualifying for higher education. In addition, 61,449 students achieved the highest grade of A+ in all subjects, reflecting the high academic standards maintained throughout the state.

Notably, 2,331 schools across Kerala recorded a 100% pass rate, showcasing the effectiveness of the educational system in the region. In contrast, Thiruvananthapuram district had the lowest success rate, with 98.59% of students passing the exams.

The results for the Technical High School Leaving Certificate (THSLC) and the Art High School Leaving Certificate (AHSLC) exams were also declared on the same day, further highlighting the breadth of educational assessments being conducted.

Students eager to check their results can do so through several official websites including pareekshabhavan.kerala.gov.in, results.kite.kerala.gov.in, and prd.kerala.gov.in. Furthermore, results will be accessible via the Saphalam mobile application, which is available on the Google Play Store, and through SMS services by sending a message in the format KERALA10 followed by the registration number to 56263.

Students should note that the marksheets available online will be provisional. For those who do not pass the exams, supplementary exams will be available, and details regarding the application process for re-evaluation will be released soon.

In comparison to last year's results, the pass percentage in 2024 was slightly higher at 99.69%, with 4,25,563 students passing the exam and 71,831 students achieving A+ grades. This year’s results reflect a minor drop in the overall pass percentage, but the number of students achieving top grades remains significant.

Kerala's education system has consistently produced high pass rates, with many schools achieving remarkable results. The SSLC exams are a crucial milestone for students, marking the end of their secondary education and paving the way for further studies.

As the excitement around the results continues, students and parents are urged to remain cautious of unofficial websites claiming to provide results. The Kerala Board of Public Examinations has advised students to rely solely on verified platforms to avoid misinformation and potential scams.

Overall, the 2025 SSLC results reflect the dedication and hard work of students, teachers, and educational institutions in Kerala. As students prepare for the next steps in their academic journeys, the results serve as both an achievement and a foundation for future success.
