The film, based on the popular manga by Kengo Hanazawa, had its premiere event on January 6, 2025, at Tokyo, Japan, just weeks before its scheduled release on January 24, 2025.

Yamazaki stars as Kuro, a low-ranking member of the ninja organization NIN, who unexpectedly finds himself on a mission involving the investigation of the enigmatic "Under Ninja" organization. Joining Yamazaki at the event was co-star Minami Hamabe, who plays Aika, the high school girl who becomes embroiled in the ninja world. Hamabe noted, "This is my first official participation with Fukuda's group, and I felt pressure but also happiness. The directions were insightful, and I really hope everyone enjoys the film!" This highlights the engagement and enthusiasm shared among the cast members as they tackled their roles.

The film promises to capture the audience with its unique blend of genres. Co-star Shouta Matsuda, portraying the elite ninja Kato, emphasized the innovative visuals, stating, "You'll see these unprecedented actions... This film is filled with fresh visuals!" His enthusiasm adds to the building excitement as fans anticipate how the film will deliver its action-packed narrative.

Director Yuichi Fukuda, known for blending genres, expressed his confidence and excitement about the final product, stating, "This is not just any ninja movie. It has the essence of today's society, and we hope you enjoy it!" Fukuda’s recognition of the film’s cultural relevance implies it aims not only to entertain but also to resonate with contemporary audiences.

The buzz surrounding the movie doesn't just end with its Tokyo launch—the film is set to have its world premiere at Hollywood, where Yamazaki and Hamabe are expected to represent the film. Yamazaki expressed his determination, stating, "I'll be taking the world-renowned 'Andonjin' with me to LA to let it reverberate across the globe!"

Fans can look forward to viewing the film with enhanced effects, as "Andonjin" will also be screened in 4DX format.
