Nearly three years after the passing of The Wanted singer Tom Parker, his widow, Kelsey Parker, has shared some heartwarming news. On January 27, 2025, Kelsey revealed she is expecting her third child, her first with her new boyfriend, Will Lindsay. This announcement is bittersweet, marking both new beginnings and reflections on lost dreams.
Speaking to The Mirror U.K., Kelsey expressed her conflicting feelings, saying, "Tom and I always said we wanted four — but life had other plans. So yes, this is amazing but also bittersweet. I’ve felt every emotion under the sun. I’m still getting my head around it but I’m so excited. And I know I’m putting myself out there, telling people. I just want everyone to be as happy as I am." Kelsey also described the pregnancy as a "happy accident." She is already the proud mother of two children with Tom, Aurelia, 5, and Bodhi, 4.
Despite her excitement, Kelsey revealed uncertainty about whether to find out the baby's gender, stating, "We’re undecided on whether we’re going to look at [the gender-reveal document] yet. We’re just going to see how the whole pregnancy experience goes together." Overwhelmed with emotions, Kelsey admitted, "I love my children — they’ve got me through the worst times. So, I feel like I’ve been blessed with another. If I dwelled on everything that's happened, I wouldn’t be here. Tom was my soulmate. I’m still angry he’s gone. But I can’t live in sadness. Tom wouldn’t want me to."
Kelsey believes she still receives signs from her deceased husband, Tom. "I’m very spiritually inclined, and so is Will. Especially after he lost his dad, he believes in signs from loved ones, like me — and I’ve had so many from Tom. Will’s seen them, too. He doesn’t think I’m crazy," she shared, illustrating the connection she maintains with Tom's memory.
Kelsey has also received blessings from Tom’s mother, Noreen Parker, who expressed excitement about the new grandchild. Kelsey stated, "She can’t wait to have another grandchild. All I care about is both our families and Tom’s family being happy. Noreen is the most amazing lady. After Tom passed, she said to me, ‘as long as you’re happy Kels, whatever you do, we will always support you and be happy for you.’ We've all been through so much together." Over the previous year, Kelsey became public about her relationship with Will. She shared her perspective on love after loss, stating to OK! magazine, "When it’s meant to be, it’ll be, and the person will be sent by Tom. I reckon he’s picking them for me.”
Tragically, as Kelsey celebrates this new chapter, the Parker family also mourns the recent passing of June Helen Parker, who died peacefully on January 12, 2025, at the age of 89, according to her obituary published by Logan-Videon Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
June was remembered fondly as the cherished matriarch of the family, known for her warmth and kindness. Born on May 23, 1935, in Philadelphia, June was the wife of the late Thomas Walter "Walt" Parker, Jr., and the loving mother of Susan L. Parker, Robyn P. Brown, Heather L. Parker, and Meredith A. Parker. Her life was filled with laughter and love, qualities she instilled deeply within her family.
The obituary highlighted June’s commitment to her community and faith, including her long-time membership at Stonehurst Hills Church and her involvement with Covenant United Methodist Church's Women’s Group. June's nurturing spirit extended beyond her immediate family; she touched many lives, turning strangers to friends and embodying selflessness.
"If I could make one person happy a day, I’ve had a good day," June lived by this credo, sharing her positivity and enthusiasm for life, as noted in her tribute. Her family will forever cherish her legacy, remembering her contagious laughter and love.
At the age of 89, June leaves behind her children and many grandchildren. The family is honoring her memory with a gathering on February 1, 2025, from 10 to 11 AM at Logan-Videon Funeral Home, followed by a celebration of her life led by Rev. Mark Terry, ensuring her spirit continues to inspire those she loved.
While Kelsey Parker awaits new life and fresh hopes, the Parker family reflects on both joy and sorrow following these significant transitions. Kelsey’s pregnancy can be seen as both growth and healing after loss, illustrating the resilience of the human spirit even amid grief. With the rhythm of life continuing, the Parker family strives to honor both the past and the future they hold dear.
