We adhere to our fundamental approach based on ESG (Environment, Social, Governance) principles, especially within the social dimension. We focus on stakeholder engagement and shared growth through education and capacity development, enhancing local job creation and community quality of life for sustainable growth. This commitment is reflected in our recent evaluation as having level A on the SET ESG Ratings for 2024 by the Stock Exchange of Thailand."
He noted, "With nearly 70 years of experience, KCG recognizes the continuous growth of the bakery and modern lifestyle food market, particularly within dairy, butter, cheese, and bakery products—our core business area. Our third-quarter results demonstrate significant business opportunities, with total sales of 1.75 billion baht, marking a 4.3% increase, and net profits reaching 76.7 million baht, up by 38.7%. With the trending pursuit of culinary careers and the food business as the new generation's dream jobs, this growth signifies open doors for small restaurant entrepreneurs seeking to enter modern food business. Therefore, the 'Ignite Your Culinary Dream' project aims to develop skills and competitive capabilities so small food sector entrepreneurs can achieve sustainable growth.
The "Ignite Your Culinary Dream Year 2" workshop, conducted alongside the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, aims to arm small food business operators with knowledge for success, encompassing three dimensions: culinary skills, branding, and financial strategies. The project runs from February 28, 2025, to April 5, 2025.
Participants will gain valuable insights, such as culinary techniques to create signature dishes, branding strategies to leverage online platforms, and financial management approaches pertinent to restaurant profitability. KCG emphasizes driving the business together with societal development by supporting small entrepreneurs and advancing the food industry sustainably. Thawatch affirmed, "This initiative will continue to forge pathways for small food businesses to thrive and stabilize within the market because sustainability starts from strong foundations."
