Karnataka 2nd PUC Exam Results 2025 Expected In April

Students keenly await announcements following March examination period as KSEAB prepares to release results.

Karnataka’s 2nd Pre-University Exam (PUC) results for 2025 are anticipated to be announced in April, leaving thousands of students eagerly awaiting their scores. Conducted by the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board (KSEAB), these exams were administered from March 1 to March 20, 2025, in a single shift each day.

For students from Science, Commerce, and Arts streams who appeared in the examinations, the results will be accessible by visiting the official KSEAB result portal at karresults.nic.in. Candidates will need to enter their registration numbers and select their streams to access their respective marksheets.

The passing criteria for the Karnataka 2nd PUC exams have been set at a minimum of 35% in each subject, which applies separately to theory and practical components. To clarify, in subjects with an 80-mark weightage, students must score at least 28 marks, whereas for 70-mark subjects, the threshold is 24 marks. Subjects like Mathematics, weighing 100 marks, require a minimum of 35 marks to pass.

For practical subjects with varying total marks, the requirements are similarly outlined. For instance, candidates must secure a minimum of 7 marks in 20-mark practicals, and at least 11 marks in subjects that have a practical component worth 30 marks.

Students who are unsatisfied with their results can apply for re-evaluation of their answer sheets once the test results are released. The re-evaluation application fee is set at ₹1,670 for each subject, while obtaining scanned copies of the answer scripts will cost ₹530 per subject. It is crucial to note that no fee will be charged for re-totalling the marks on the original answer sheets.

Additionally, for those who do not pass, supplementary exams are scheduled for April 2025. The results of these supplementary exams are expected to be announced in May 2025. Students will be required to fill out an application and pay the necessary fees to sit for these exams, further demonstrating KSEAB’s efforts to support students in their academic journey.

Once the results are announced, the provisional mark sheets will be issued. However, these provisional documents will need to be replaced with original mark sheets, which students must collect from their respective schools to ensure that their evaluation records are accurately documented for future academic endeavors.

Keeping in mind the importance of these results, students are advised to check for discrepancies in the provisional mark sheets. Any errors must be reported to KSEAB immediately so that corrections can be made before the original documents are distributed.

The anticipation surrounding the Karnataka 2nd PUC Results 2025 is palpable. With approximately 698,000 students having sat for the exams last year, the board is preparing for a large influx of result inquiries.

While the exact release date has not yet been confirmed, there is speculation that results will be available in the second week of April 2025, based on the previous year’s timeline, when the results were announced on April 10. As such, it is prudent for students to stay updated via KSEAB's official communication channels, including their website, kseab.karnataka.gov.in.

In summary, Karnataka's 2nd PUC results for 2025 are on the horizon, expected to pave the way for students’ future academic paths. This creates a pivotal moment in their education, as students prepare for higher learning opportunities and navigate the next steps following their pre-university examinations.
