The original K3 lineup is back with exciting news for fans: they have announced four extra shows in both Antwerp and Rotterdam following the overwhelming demand for their reunion concerts. In just a few hours, the trio of Karen, Kristel, and Kathleen sold 300,000 tickets for their initial series of performances, prompting the addition of these new dates.
Starting on April 7, 2026, the beloved group will perform four additional shows at the Rotterdam Ahoy, followed by another four shows at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp beginning May 21, 2026. Ticket sales for those who registered in advance will kick off on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 10 AM, while the remaining tickets will be available to the general public on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, starting at 1 PM.
“Due to the overwhelming and continued demand, we couldn’t ignore it,” said Gert Verhulst, one of the key figures behind Studio 100, the company managing K3. “No one here expected the rush for tickets to be this large. After all 22 concerts were sold out, we consulted both venues to see if there were any available dates for extra shows that also fit the original K’s schedule.”
The original trio broke all records at the Sportpaleis, selling out the venue fourteen times. All eight shows in the Rotterdam Ahoy also vanished quickly, leaving many fans eager for more. “We had long been uncertain if there would be additional shows. October is a busy time for us, and we were assessing the possibilities,” Verhulst added.
However, the scheduling of additional shows was complicated by other events. Katy Perry is set to perform at the Sportpaleis on October 16, 2025, requiring the venue to be transformed for her concert. Verhulst explained, “After October 12, the Sportpaleis needs to be converted. Katy Perry is coming and she brings her own stage, which requires setup time.” Thus, the decision was made to announce entirely new dates.
Reflecting on the ticket sales, Karen, Kristel, and Kathleen expressed their joy and surprise at the response from fans. Karen shared, “So many years later, we still feel that warm wave of love from the audience. It feels like coming home, and I can’t wait to share that feeling on stage.” Kathleen added, “I never dared to dream this would happen. What an adventure this is going to be!” Kristel also noted the emotional impact of the reunion, stating, “We were often asked, ‘When will you reunite again?’ To be able to experience this again, together, feels like we can give something back to our fans who have supported us all these years.”
This reunion marks a significant milestone, occurring exactly 25 years after the release of their album Alle kleuren and 16 years since their last performance as a group. Studio 100 emphasized that the upcoming shows will be a celebration for the many generations of fans who grew up with the original K3. “Karen, Kristel, and Kathleen will bring their classic repertoire, featuring all the major hits that once captured the hearts of thousands of fans,” the company stated.
The anticipation surrounding these extra shows is palpable, with fans eagerly awaiting the chance to relive the magic of K3. Many had feared they would miss out after the initial tickets sold out so quickly, but now, with these new dates, hope is renewed. As the ticket sales approach, excitement is building for what promises to be a spectacular return to the stage for the iconic trio.
For those still hoping to secure their spot, it’s important to act fast when tickets go on sale. Kristel Verbeke has urged fans to avoid purchasing tickets from secondary markets or social media platforms, where they have been sold at inflated prices. “We want everyone to enjoy the experience without falling victim to scalpers,” she cautioned.
As the countdown to the shows begins, the original K3 trio prepares to take the stage once more, ready to deliver an unforgettable experience filled with nostalgia and joy. With their loyal fan base backing them, the reunion is shaping up to be a historic event, celebrating not only their music but the enduring connection they have with their audience.
