Justin Tucker Denies Sexual Misconduct Allegations Amid NFL Investigation

Accusations from massage therapists lead to serious scrutiny of the Ravens kicker's behavior and procedures.

Allegations of sexual misconduct have surfaced against Justin Tucker, the renowned kicker for the Baltimore Ravens, following detailed reports by the Baltimore Banner involving six unnamed massage therapists. According to the report, which surfaced on January 30, 2025, these allegations charge Tucker with inappropriate sexual behavior during massage sessions between 2012 and 2016 at four high-end spas and wellness centers across the Baltimore area.

Therapists described disturbing encounters with Tucker, stating he allegedly exposed his genitals, brushed against two of them with his exposed penis, and left what they believed to be semen on massage tables following some sessions. Reports indicated at least two spas chose to ban Tucker from their premises due to these claims. This serious situation gained traction quickly, leading the NFL to announce on January 31, 2025, it would initiate its own investigation.

Tucker, 35, who has been with the Ravens since 2012 and is hailed as one of the top kickers in NFL history, vehemently denied the allegations. He took to social media, stating, "These allegations are unequivocally false and desperately skew the truth of innocuous collaborations. I have never received accusations of this nature nor been told I was unwelcome at any spa." Tucker emphasized the impact of the allegations on him and his family, calling the story "desperate tabloid fodder."

The NFL, through spokesperson Brian McCarthy, stated it had not been previously informed of these allegations until they were brought to light by the media investigation. McCarthy noted, "We take any allegation seriously and will look closely at the matter," emphasizing the league's commitment to addressing misconduct.

The Ravens, Tucker's longtime team, also voiced their awareness of the situation and reiterated their position of taking such allegations seriously, hinting at continuous monitoring of developments as the investigation proceeds.

Contextually, it's worth noting the increasing scrutiny surrounding player behavior off the field. The allegations against Tucker draw comparisons to those linked to quarterback Deshaun Watson, who faced multiple accusations of sexual assault and harassment during massage therapy sessions, incidents which led to significant consequences within the league.

One notable aspect of these allegations is the absence of any filed lawsuits or criminal charges as of the report date. Tucker maintains he has never acted improperly during therapeutic sessions, and his attorneys question the validity of the allegations, claiming the accusations are misinterpretations of innocent exchanges.

While Tucker's stellar career is under scrutiny, he is currently contracted through the 2027 season, following a four-year extension granted last year, which included $17.5 million guaranteed. His unique standing as one of the most accurate kickers, with the highest career field goal percentage (89.1%), has made him both famous and beloved by Ravens fans.

Despite recent struggles during the last NFL season—missing eight field goals—Tucker's reputation as the best kicker is still widely recognized. Ravens general manager Eric DeCosta stated his expectations for Tucker to bounce back, underscoring confidence amid the current turmoil.

The forthcoming investigation will likely hold significant ramifications for Tucker's future within the NFL, potentially affecting not only his career but the Ravens' franchise reputation as well.

With many eyes now watching, the developments will be pivotal as this story continues to evolve.
