Long-service medals were awarded at two distinct events recently, highlighting the dedication of employees within the JTTI Group and the municipality of Saint-Maurice-de-Lignon. This occurrence sees companies and local government recognizing long-term commitment and service among their workers, demonstrating the significance of loyalty and tenure across sectors.
On Friday, JTTI Group hosted its own ceremony at their premises located on Avenue de la Gare, Monistrol-sur-Loire. Eight years after their first and last awarding of work medals, CEO Frank Janisset took the stage, stating, "We are more of a family than just a group." He presented work medals to employees who exemplified dedication and hard work, underscoring their contributions to the business's success.
At JTTI Group, which specializes in textile and plastic products and has approximately 50 employees based locally— plus additional personnel across Romania, Vietnam, and Hong Kong—Janisset emphasized the quiet diligence displayed by workers: "We are giving medals to simple, discreet people who do their job." Among the awardees were employees whose tenures ranged from one year to over four decades, showcasing loyalty and stability within the workforce.
One notable recipient, Gilles Massard, received recognition for his extraordinary 40 years at JTTI Group. His long-standing commitment symbolizes the kind of employee dedication Janisset hopes to inspire among other staff. "We need to learn to pass on our knowledge and inspire others," Janisset remarked during the medal presentation.

Also honored was Annick Berruero, who has served as both councilwoman and leader within the community since 2001.
Former councillor Joseph Peyragrosse was recognized for his extensive tenure starting as the first deputy mayor from 1989 to 2001, and later serving again until 2020.
