JR West Japan Unveils Exciting Expo Merchandise

As the excitement builds for the Osaka/Kansai Expo, which officially opened on April 13, 2025, the JR West Japan Group has announced the launch of its fourth series of collaboration goods. These products aim to enhance the overall experience of the Expo, offering a variety of unique and collectible items that reflect the spirit of the event.

This new collection features 15 original items, including plush mascots of Inochichi-yan and Myakumyaku, designed in traditional 'cloak' and 'station staff' outfits. The EXPO2025 Cloak Mascot, available in two types, is priced at 3,960 yen each, inclusive of tax.

In addition to the mascots, the collection includes a special EXPO2025 Station Staff Plush Toy Set, which features the two characters dressed as station staff. This set is available for 5,940 yen. For those looking for something smaller, the EXPO2025 Station Staff Mascot Set, also featuring the duo in station staff attire, is priced at 4,840 yen.

Other items in the collection include the EXPO2025 3-Series Metal Key Ring Cloak Series, perfect for souvenirs, which costs 1,320 yen. A pouch from the Cloak Series is also available for 2,090 yen, designed with an easy-to-use size for everyday convenience.

For train enthusiasts, the EXPO2025 TOMIX N Gauge Freight Car Com offers two types of freight cars, each priced at 1,870 yen. One features a design with Osaka's famous takoyaki, while the other showcases the two characters together.

The collection also includes a Uni-ball One 4-piece set, ideal for everyday use and as a souvenir. Additionally, the EXPO2025 Senshu Towel Handkerchief and Face Towel feature illustrations of Myakumyaku and Inochichi-yan, along with the Expo logo. The handkerchief is priced at 990 yen, while the face towel costs 1,320 yen.

Finally, the EXPO2025 Mug Cup, available in two designs featuring Myakumyaku and Inochichi-yan, as well as the Expo Rapping Shinkansen, retails for 1,650 yen each.

The official release date for these items is April 18, 2025, and they will be available at various locations, including JR West Japan's station stores and their online shops, such as Train Box and DISCOVER WEST mall.
