Dance superstar John Summit has announced additional shows to his upcoming Australian tour due to overwhelming demand. After Melbourne and Sydney exclusive pre-sales sold out in just 12 minutes, the US DJ and producer has locked in two new dates – Friday, April 4, at PICA in Melbourne, and Friday, April 11, at Hordern Pavilion in Sydney. Presale tickets for both newly-announced shows are on sale now, and artist presale tickets go live Wednesday, February 5, at 11 am AEDT. General public tickets drop Thursday, February 6, at 2 pm AEDT.
With nearly one billion global streams, two #1 US dance radio hits, and recognition on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 and Rolling Stone’s Future 25, Summit has become one of the electronic scene’s biggest forces. His tracks, including “Where You Are” featuring HAYLA, “Human” featuring Echoes, and “Go Back” with Sub Focus featuring Julia Church, have solidified his position at the forefront of the genre.
Summit’s sold-out shows include LA’s Kia Forum and New York’s Madison Square Garden, along with performances at Coachella. He’s also teamed up with Australian house producer Dom Dolla for the Everything Always event series, featuring performances across the US, Coachella, and a headline slot at Ultra Miami this March.
Most recently, he has released a new single, “Focus,” featuring Australian singer-songwriter CLOVES. Summit revealed the track’s origin on social media, saying, “I haven’t been this hyped about a single in a long time.. when @clovesdot reached out to me with the song idea I was hooked immediately and produced it out overnight for my Art Basel set.. it has a chiller vibe than my usual stuff so I didn’t expect much but it got such a good reaction I knew right away this one was special.”
