JNVST Class 6 And 9 Results Announced For 2025

Students can check their results and begin the admission process with required documents.

The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) announced the results of the JNVST Class 6 and Class 9 entrance exams for 2025 on March 26, 2025. Students who participated in the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test can check their results on the official website navodaya.gov.in. The results were released following the completion of the exams, which were held in various states across India.

Principal Dr. Amita Saksena from the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya located in Rudhauli, Basti, confirmed that the results for both classes were made public on the same day. In total, 80 students will be admitted to Class 6 and 11 to Class 9. The exam for Class 6 was conducted on January 18, 2025, while the Class 9 exam took place on February 8, 2025.

To view their results, students need their roll number and date of birth. The process is straightforward: candidates should visit the NVS official website, click on the relevant result link for Class 6 or Class 9, and enter their login details. Upon submission, their results will be displayed on the screen, which they are encouraged to download for future reference.

As part of the admission process, selected students are required to submit several documents. These include their original mark sheet, birth certificate, residence certificate, caste/income certificate, Aadhar card, and a passport-sized photograph. This documentation is essential for verifying eligibility and ensuring that students meet the requirements set forth by the NVS.

Students who have successfully passed the JNVST will now move forward to the admission phase. This involves completing the necessary formalities, including the submission of required documents at the school they have applied to. Each student will be admitted to the JNV school in their respective district, based on their residence.

The JNVST is an important examination as it facilitates access to quality education for students in rural areas of India. The government operates these schools under the Ministry of Education, aiming to provide free education, accommodation, and meals to students. This initiative is particularly significant in promoting educational equity across different regions.

In total, there are 649 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas established across the country, with Uttar Pradesh hosting the highest number at 76 schools. This widespread network aims to ensure that students from various backgrounds can benefit from quality education, irrespective of their socio-economic status.

As the admission process unfolds, the NVS has advised all selected students to prepare their documents promptly to avoid any delays. The official website will provide further details regarding the verification and admission procedures, ensuring that students are well-informed about the next steps.

In conclusion, the release of the JNVST results marks a significant milestone for many students aspiring to join the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas. As they embark on this new educational journey, the commitment to providing them with a conducive learning environment remains a priority for the NVS.
