JKSSB Announces Supervisor Results And New Police SI Exam Updates

Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board outlines key recruitment timelines and exam details for aspiring candidates.

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has officially announced the results for the Supervisor position, as part of their recruitment drive for 2025. This update follows the completion of the hiring process formed under Advertisement Notification No.02 of 2023, which was published on December 8, 2023. With the objective of filling 186 posts, the Board encourages eligible candidates to check their final results via the official JKSSB website at jkssb.nic.in.

To access the results, candidates simply need to visit the homepage, where they can find the final result link. After clicking on it, they should download and keep a printout for future reference. For detailed updates and any additional information, candidates are urged to keep visiting the JKSSB’s official page.

Another significant update from the JKSSB pertains to the upcoming written examination for the position of Sub-Inspector (SI) within the Jammu and Kashmir Police Department. This examination is set to recruit candidates for 669 vacancies, underscoring the importance of this selection process for those aspiring to serve within law enforcement. The exact exam date is yet to be announced, but candidates should regularly check the official JKSSB website for updates. Preparation for this rigorous selection process is key, as it includes not only written exams but also Physical Standard Tests (PST), Physical Efficiency Tests (PET), and medical examinations.

The exam structure is particularly important, comprising 100 objective-type questions worth 200 marks, with candidates allotted 120 minutes to complete the test. Importantly, negative marking is applied, with one-fourth of the marks deducted for each incorrect answer. Preparing well for this examination means grasping the subject matters thoroughly, as the exams are structured to test various competencies.

Key topics to study for include General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, English, and Computer Proficiency, among others. Candidates need to familiarize themselves with the test format, ensuring they are well-prepared for the exam day.

Alongside these announcements, the Jammu and Kashmir High Court also issued notice concerning the Junior Assistant Examination 2025. This recruitment drive will look to fill 283 posts across various positions, including Junior Assistant, Steno-Typist, System Officer, and System Assistant. While the specific exam date remains unannounced, it is expected to occur around March or April of 2025, conducted through multiple shifts depending on the post and test center.

Candidates preparing for this examination should pay close attention to the selection process, which involves several stages including a Computer-Based Written Examination, followed by interviews and document verification. Particularly for those aiming for Steno-Typist roles, additional shorthand and typing tests will be necessary prior to the interviews.

Once again, candidates are encouraged to check for updates frequently, especially as the JK High Court will release the Junior Assistant admit card roughly one week before the examination date, providing candidates with necessary details such as their designated exam timing and venue.

The JKSSB has also illustrated the importance of staying prepared and having login credentials ready to access important documents like admit cards as soon as they become available.

With these announcements, it's imperative for job seekers to embrace thorough preparations and remain updated on any changes or additional instructions released by the JKSSB and other official portals. Overall, these recruitment drives represent not just job opportunities, but pivotal steps for candidates aspiring to serve the Jammu and Kashmir region across various departments.
