JKBOSE Results 2025 Expected On April 30 Or May 1

Students eagerly await the JKBOSE Class 10th and 12th results with potential simultaneous release.

The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is set to announce the results for the Class 10th and 12th board exams soon, with expectations building around the release dates. According to various reports, the JKBOSE 12th result for 2025 is likely to be declared on April 30 or May 1, 2025, although the board has yet to confirm this officially.

Students who participated in the JKBOSE 12th exams will be able to download their marksheets from the official board website, jkbose.nic.in. The results will be released in the form of a scorecard, and students will need their roll numbers to check their results online once they are available. The marksheets provided initially will be provisional, with official copies distributed by schools shortly after.

In terms of accessibility, the JKBOSE results for both Class 10 and Class 12 will be made available online, and students are advised to keep their JKBOSE hall tickets ready for the download process. The results will be accessible not only through the official JKBOSE website but also through the Digilocker portal, which is designed to ease the load on the website during peak traffic times.

Last year, the results for both classes were announced in June, and this year, there is speculation that the timeline might be similar. An official from JKBOSE has indicated that the 12th result is expected to be announced on April 30, with the Class 10 results following closely afterward.

"If things go well and we do not face any practical problems, we will announce the result of both classes on the same day," the official stated, emphasizing that the decision hinges on the capacity of the servers hosting the results. The board is considering hiring private networks to enhance server capacity and ensure a smooth release process.

To further manage the load on their website, JKBOSE officials are planning to stagger the announcement times. The Class 12 results may be released in the morning, followed by the Class 10 results later in the afternoon, with an estimated gap of eight to nine hours between the two announcements.

In 2024, the JKBOSE Class 10 exams were conducted across two zones—soft and hard—between February 15 and March 19 for the soft zone and February 21 to March 25 for the hard zone. The Class 12 exams were similarly scheduled, with the soft zone exams taking place from February 15 to March 17 and the hard zone exams from February 20 to March 24.

For the previous academic year, 2024, around 146,136 students enrolled for the Class 10 board exam, with a pass percentage of 79.25%. Out of those, 115,816 students successfully passed, while 30,218 did not qualify. The Class 12 exams saw 93,340 candidates, with a pass percentage of 74%—69,385 students passed the exam.

As the JKBOSE prepares for the upcoming results, the board is also ensuring that students who are dissatisfied with their results have options available. Students can apply for revaluation of their answer scripts for both Classes 10 and 12, allowing them to request a review of their marks.

Once the results are declared, students can check their scores by visiting the official board website and following these steps:

  • Visit the official website – jkbose.nic.in.

  • Click on the link for “Secondary School Examination (Class 10th, Class 12th) Results 2025.”

  • Enter your roll number and registration number as printed on your admit card.

  • Click “Submit” to view your result.

  • Your JKBOSE Class 12 Scorecard 2025 will appear on the screen.

  • Download and take a printout for future reference.

With the anticipated announcement dates fast approaching, students are advised to stay updated through the official JKBOSE channels. The board has not yet issued a formal press release regarding the exact date and time of the results, but many sources suggest that the release is imminent.

As students await their results, the JKBOSE emphasizes the importance of ensuring that all details on the online scorecards are accurate, as these will be reflected in the final mark sheets issued by schools. The scorecards will include essential information such as student names, roll numbers, subject-wise marks, grades, and overall result status.

The JKBOSE’s efforts to streamline the results process reflect a commitment to serving the educational needs of students in Jammu and Kashmir. With innovative solutions like the Digilocker portal and staggered result announcements, the board aims to provide a smoother experience for students during this critical time.

As the countdown to the results continues, students and parents alike are filled with anticipation, hoping for favorable outcomes as the JKBOSE gears up for what promises to be a significant announcement in the academic calendar.
