Jin Air has announced its recruitment for new cabin crew members for the first half of 2025, aiming to bolster its operations with fresh talent. The application window opened on February 24, 2025, and will remain open until March 4, 2025. Interested candidates can apply through the airline's recruitment website.
The requirements for applicants are quite inclusive. Candidates need to be either graduates or those expecting to graduate, possess corrected vision of 1.0 or higher, and must not have any restrictions barring them from overseas travel. A score of at least 550 on the TOEIC, or equivalent scores on other language assessments like the TOEIC Speaking or OPIc, must also be submitted.
What's notable is Jin Air's commitment to inclusivity; the recruitment process does not impose age, major, gender, or height restrictions. This opens the doors for many, particularly those who are fluent in foreign languages such as English, Japanese, or Chinese, as these skills are prioritized. Individuals with high rankings from the Korean Sports Promotion Foundation's 'Korean Fitness 100' program will also be favored during the selection process.
The selection procedure is quite thorough, comprising several stages. Initially, the process includes document screening followed by video interviews, the first round of interviews, and AI competency assessments. Selected candidates will then participate in the second round of interviews before undergoing health and fitness evaluations. Notably, the physical test can be substituted with the Korean Fitness 100 assessment, streamlining the process.
Successful candidates are expected to begin their roles with the airline by May 2025. Once hired, they will participate in approximately nine weeks of comprehensive training aimed at preparing them for their duties. This training encompasses scenario-based practical training connected to aviation safety and security, alongside specialized instruction focused on cabin service and customer interaction capabilities.
Commenting on this recruitment initiative, a representative from Jin Air stated, "We hope to attract talented individuals who will lead the airline industry with forward-thinking and positive energy. By securing excellent talents, we aim to strengthen our competitiveness and strive to become an airline loved by customers through optimal safety and service."
This recruitment drive marks another step by Jin Air to solidify its workforce and improve its service standards. With the airline industry ever-evolving, having well-trained cabin crew members is pivotal for success and customer satisfaction.
