Actor Jerome Flynn, famously known for his role as Bronn in HBO’s hit series Game of Thrones, is set to make his Malayalam film debut with Empuraan. Directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran, the film has unveiled Flynn’s character poster, which has left fans intrigued and amazed.
Flynn expressed surprise and delight at being part of the project, stating, "I can’t quite recall how I got roped intothis job. But I am so glad I did because it was completely different from what I am used to having over in the UK or the US. India was really significant to my growth, and to be part of the Mollywood culture and get a taste of it was truly special." He reflected on how his earlier visits to India for a personal retreat reshaped his perspective on life, remarking, "The country changed my perception of life. I found everybody really sweet during this project, making it one of the most enjoyable works I have ever done."
The film, creatively stylized as L2E: Empuraan (the second installment of the Lucifer trilogy), introduces Flynn as the character Boris Oliver. Although rumors had swirled about Flynn joining the cast, many considered it improbable to land such a prominent Hollywood actor for a Mollywood film.
