Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are still trying to resolve their divorce months after she filed the papers, according to In Touch Weekly. “Nothing has been resolved, it doesn’t seem like they’re anywhere close to finalizing the divorce,” a source told the publication. “They both said they wanted to do it amicably and have even talked a good game about wanting to consciously uncouple, but...this plan seems to be out the window because they can’t agree on how to divide things up, which of course is affecting things.”
Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck, her fourth husband, on August 20, 2024. That’s almost four months ago now, and the proceedings are reportedly getting “highly stressful” behind the scenes. “She feels like the least he could do is be a gentleman in their divorce,” the source outlined. “But of course, Ben doesn’t see it quite the same way—he thinks he’s been more than fair and J. Lo is the one purposely dragging this on and nitpicking over little details.”
Adding to the complexity, TMZ previously reported there is no prenuptial agreement between the stars. Affleck appears to have started avoiding Lopez, with her expressing the need for them to maintain communication for the sake of their kids. “J.
