The New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival has unveiled its impressive artist lineup for the much-anticipated 2025 event, which will take place at the Fair Grounds Race Course over two consecutive four-day weekends, beginning April 24 and concluding May 4.

Presented once again by Shell, the 2025 edition of the Jazz Fest is set to feature headliners from across the musical spectrum, including iconic names such as Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Luke Combs, Lil Wayne with The Roots, Lenny Kravitz, Kacey Musgraves, Santana, and many more. The festival promises to offer something for everyone, reflecting the diversity of New Orleans’ rich musical heritage.

During the first weekend, from April 24 to 27, attendees can look forward to performances by artists like Burna Boy, HAIM, Cage The Elephant, and Harry Connick Jr. The lineup also boasts local favorites like Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Irma Thomas, and the famed Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Jazz Fest has always been known for its eclectic mix of genres, and 2025 continues this tradition, bringing together jazz, rock, hip-hop, country, and R&B influences.

The second weekend, from May 1 to 4, will feature equally stellar performances. Alongside headliners like Pearl Jam and Luke Combs, attendees will enjoy shows from established names such as Joan Jett and the Blackhearts, Patti LaBelle, and Trombone Shorty. This year’s lineup also sees homage paid to Mexican music, featuring performances from artists such as Lila Downs and Mariachi Los Camperos. The special segment, dubbed “Jazz Fest Celebrates Mexico,” will feature various Mexican genres, thereby enhancing the festival's reputation as not only a musical event but also a cultural showcase.
