Janni Ree Launches New Projects Despite Financial Woes

Former model aims to empower women through upcoming book series and documentary.

Janni Ree, the former front page model and entrepreneur, is carving out new horizons following what has been described as a turbulent year both personally and financially. The public figure is stepping confidently onto the brink of fresh opportunities, spearheading several ambitious projects aimed at addressing women’s challenges through her upcoming publications.

The recent financial report for her company, Janni Ree ApS, revealed some concerning statistics: it was submitted late, showcasing negative equity of 32,000 kroner. Despite this worrisome figure, Janni remains unfazed, stating, "Det er jo dumt" (It’s just silly). She attributed the tardiness to her forgetfulness amid several reminders to approve the document.

According to B.T., the report also indicates profit, with the company netting 73,000 kroner, which lends her some financial stability. Janni defended her economic status, explaining, "Jeg blev simpelthen rykket tre gange, og så har jeg bare glemt at godkende det. Men det er jo dumt, for det tog to sekunder" (I was reminded three times, and I just forgot to approve it. But it’s silly since it took two seconds), reflecting her good humor concerning the situation.

Looking forward, Janni is optimistic about the financial future of her company. The upcoming year is set to be transformative as she embarks on writing a series of seven books through her contract with Buster Nordic Publishing. The series, broadly titled "Der er så meget vi kvinder ikke forstår" (There is so much we women do not understand), aims to tackle various life phases and challenges women encounter from puberty to menopause.

"Det handler om kvinders udfordringer i livet... Alt fra pubertet til overgangsalder" (It’s about women’s challenges... from puberty to menopause), she explained to her audience, hinting at her desire to relate personal struggles and triumphs alongside those of other women. This focus on vulnerability aligns with the broader themes she aims to explore, emphasizing shared experiences among women.

One of the forthcoming titles, "Evig Diva" (Eternal Diva), is poised for release on March 11, coinciding with her birthday. This book will focus on breaking taboos surrounding common yet often hushed topics such as menstruation and childbirth. Janni refers to this first book as her "hjertebarn" (heart child), underlining its significance to her. The aim is to give women a voice and provide them with relatable narratives.

Fans can expect additional exhibitions of her own experiences within each book, as Janni reveals, "Jeg har også talt med mange kvinder, som har været i lignende parforhold, og nu nævner jeg ingen bestemt forhold, hvor de her kvinder, har begravet deres følelser og påtaget sig en skyld, der måske ikke har været deres" (I have also spoken with many women who have been in similar relationships, and I do not mention any specific relationships where these women have buried their feelings and taken on guilt, which perhaps was not theirs). This openness aims to shatter the societal norms inhibiting women from speaking on such pressing issues.

Following the first book, the second is expected around September 2025, and it will continue to explore themes of relationships through personal anecdotes and research. Buster Nordic confirmed the timeline, stating, "Janni går i skrivefasen igen her i starten af foråret" (Janni is back to the writing phase at the start of spring). This marks the beginning of what many hope will be an influential series for women.

Despite the setbacks highlighted by her financial reports, Janni's determination shines through. She has paid herself 110,000 kroner for the year, approximately 9,000 kroner monthly. This modest salary contrasts sharply with her ambition, yet she believes brighter days are on the horizon. The management's report within the recent financial statement echoes this sentiment, assuring stakeholders of plans to restore positive capital through self-financing efforts.

Even as Janni faces the financial reality of her current situation, she pursues various projects with renewed vigor. Predictions of her forthcoming documentary also catch attention, promising to provide yet another lens through which her story and the stories of others can resonate. This compelling blend of personal narratives aims to spark discussions and inspire change.

What lies ahead for Janni Ree is more than just written words; it’s about creating meaningful connections with women who see themselves reflected in her work. With each project, she hopes to dismantle stigmas and actively encourage conversations around issues often considered taboo.

With her new endeavors on the horizon, Janni Ree remains committed to elevatory dialogues about women’s struggles, showcasing them with authenticity and clarity. Her diverse projects represent not just personal recovery but also community empowerment through shared narratives—a future very much worth waiting for.
