Jack In The Box Unveils Tasty New Menu Items Amid Kitchen Fire Incident

The fast food chain introduces new Jack Wraps and promotions, demonstrating resilience following recent kitchen emergency.

Fast food giant Jack in the Box has kicked off 2025 with exciting new menu items as well as some unfortunate incidents requiring quick action. Beginning January 3, the chain introduced limited-time offerings aimed at bringing fresh flavors and convenient options to its customers. Among the most notable are the new Jack Wraps, available in both Fajita Style and Caesar Style, each customizable with grilled or crispy white meat chicken strips.

The Fajita Style wrap includes shredded cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, diced tomatoes, and chipotle ranch, all enveloped in a warm tortilla. For those preferring classic tastes, the Caesar Style wrap offers diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, and Caesar dressing, creating satisfying and portable meals. This latest menu addition reflects the growing demand for customizable fast food options, catering to diverse palates and dietary preferences.

Jack in the Box also rolled out its All Day Big Deal Meal, providing customers with one entree, two sides—including breakfast options—and a drink for just $5, reinforcing the company's focus on value. To entice customers even more, Jack's Munchies Under $4 promo offers mix-and-match savings along with the Buy One Get One Free deal on specific items, such as the Jumbo Jack and Jack Wrap.

With Valentine’s Day approaching, Jack in the Box is promoting BOGO (Buy One Get One) shakes for guests wishing to share sweet treats with loved ones. This offer includes all shake sizes and flavors, making it perfect for any celebration.

Unfortunately, not all news has been pleasant for the company. On January 5, 2025, the night crew at the Geer Road Jack in the Box had to act quickly when a fire broke out due to combustible cardboard food storage boxes placed too close to heat sources. The Turlock City Fire Department responded around 10:33 p.m. after staff attempted to extinguish the flames before contacting emergency services. Crew member Justine Urbina explained, "She got it out before it went it out of the kitchen," highlighting the team’s quick thinking.

The fire spread to the adjacent deep fryer and walls, resulting in estimated damages of $7,000. Fortunately, very few customers were inside at the time, and no injuries were reported. The restaurant remains closed for cleaning and repairs, with fire officials reminding everyone about the importance of kitchen safety. The incident serves as a timely reminder of the need to adhere to safety measures to prevent such occurrences.

Despite the setback, Jack in the Box is committed to maintaining its operations and ensuring customer satisfaction through innovative menu offerings and exciting promotions. With its emphasis on adaptability and safety, the fast food chain aims to recover quickly from this incident and continue delighting its customers with new culinary experiences.

Whether you’re aiming for new flavors from the Jack Wraps or taking advantage of family-friendly deals and promotions, Jack in the Box is set to keep pace with consumer demands and safety standards.
