The Irapuato Strawberry Festival 2025 is set to be one of the most anticipated events of the year, celebrating the rich cultural, agricultural, and gastronomical heritage of Irapuato, Guanajuato. Scheduled to take place from March 14 to March 30, 2025, this festival not only showcases the region's famous strawberries but also promises thrilling entertainment with a star-studded lineup.

One of the festival's biggest attractions is its diverse array of performances featuring both national and international artists. The lineup includes the renowned English band Keane and the popular Jonas Brothers, among others. According to reports, performances will be held at the Teatro del Pueblo, located at the INFORUM, which serves as the festival's main venue.

The festival will kick off with Aleks Syntek on March 14, followed by Edén Muñoz, Banda Cuisillos, and Kumbre con K on successive days. The excitement continues with Keane on March 18, Molotov on the 20th, and Bronco on the 21st. Other notable performances include La Arrolladora, Los Aguilar, and Panteón Rococó leading up to the grand finale with the Jonas Brothers on March 30. Governor Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo expressed her optimism at the press announcement, stating, "Our purpose is for this Fair to make you have a great time and interact with family; the Strawberry Fair is yours and Guanajuato's." The governor emphasized the importance of supporting local vendors, noting participation from over 240 entrepreneurs from the brand GTO, with 60% coming from Irapuato.

Los Aguilar, Christian Nodal, and Banda MS are also expected to perform at the Palenque, with additional attractions such as the military exhibition and the livestock pavilion set to be part of the fair. This year's festival promises to cater to audiences of all ages. Attendees can delight themselves with traditional dishes and beverages infused with the region's star ingredient—the strawberry.

Mayor Lorena Alfaro García highlighted the festival as Irapuato's signature annual event where locals and visitors can engage with the city’s cultural and social fabric. "This fair has evolved to be every day improved... this fair will continue to consolidate," she remarked during her speech at the presentation. The festival aims to draw approximately 400,000 visitors and generate significant economic impact estimated around 160 million pesos.

Entry to the festival will be economical, with general admission priced at 50 pesos. Family-friendly access initiatives include free entry for seniors and individuals with disabilities, along with free transportation routes making it more inclusive. Concurrently, efforts will be made to uphold cleanliness and safety at the festival.

This year’s festival introduces exciting rides and activities, promising fun for families. Scheduled opening hours will allow guests to enjoy the festivities from 4 PM on weekdays and 2 PM on weekends, with various attractions available well until midnight. The culinary corners will feature local delicacies, reinforcing the festival’s commitment to celebrating Irapuato’s gastronomic richness.
