Athletes from Iran and Uzbekistan made headlines at the 2025 Asian Alpine Ski Championships, showcasing their exceptional skills and determination at the Yabuli Ski Resort in Harbin, China. This competition served as part of the buildup to the upcoming Asian Winter Games.

On February 28, 2025, Iranian skiers celebrated remarkable achievements, claiming four medals, including one prestigious gold. The standout performer was Zahra Alizadeh, who dominated her competitors to secure the gold medal in the women's slalom event. Sarina Ahmadpour, another talented skier representing Iran, finished just outside the podium, placing fifth and showcasing her potential for future competitions. Meanwhile, the men's section also contributed to Iran's medal tally, with Mohammad Saveh Shamsaki earning a bronze medal, ranking third overall. Valeria Kovaleva completed the medal collection for Uzbekistan, securing bronze in the slalom event, highlighting the depth and talent of their skiing contingent.
