According to reports from 24 Kanal, referencing DeepState, significant confrontations are taking place as Russian forces attempt to establish control over key locations.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are currently engaged against Russian infantry units trying to make their way through the village of Novy Komar, where they are attempting to ground themselves to fortify their position. The Defense Forces of Ukraine are vigorously defending this area, applying maximum effort to repel enemy incursions. They have successfully engaged and neutralized Russian troops attempting to find cover within homes, but sources indicate the adversary's resources are seemingly limitless, complicity the defense efforts.
Analysts confirm the heightened activity since Russian troops captured the settlements of Storozhevoe and Blagodatnoe, where reinforcement efforts are underway aimed at preparing for additional offensives. Russian forces have also reportedly been mobilizing toward the highway leading from Huliaipole to Velika Novosilka, continuing attempts to secure control over the area. Elsewhere along the frontline, the situation exhibits varying levels of confrontational dynamics. The total number of combat engagements across all frontline zones has reportedly increased to 128, reflecting the persistent tensions and confrontations faced by Ukrainian defenders. Reports indicate the continued airstrikes utilizing guided aviation bombs (KAB) alongside artillery barrages targeting regions bordering Russian encroachments.
Specific areas such as Baranovka, Zarechnoe, Progress, Stepok, and Gorki within the Sumy region have been subjected to enemy shelling. Over on the Toretsk front, Russian forces executed six assaults against Ukrainian positions near Toretsk and Shcherbinovka, with three of these grabs still arising. By the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy has launched approximately 35 assaults upon defensive positions, leading to multiple current battles around settlements such as Zelenoe Pole, Vozdvizhanka, Mirolyubovka, Promin, Lisovka, Dachenskoye, Pokrovsk, Novy Trud, Zelenoe, and Novotroitskoye. Ukrainian defenders have successfully fended off repeated enemy aggression, with substantial operations continuing to evolve amid this strife.
Similarly, forces managed to defend themselves against 14 assaults across the Kurakhov direction, engaging hostile forces close to Petropavlovka, Slavyanka, Yasenyovo, Kurakhovo, and Dachnoye, which now reflects the diversity and omnipresence of threats faced by Ukrainian troops.
The Vremivka front has absorbed significant contention with 17 enemy assaults halted around Konstantinopol, Yantarne, Konstantinople, Razliv, Velika Novosilka, Novosilka, Blagodatne, and Vremovka, with another eight encounters currently persisting. Notably, forces also negated two enemy advancements toward Novodanilovka on the Orikhiv front.
Overall, not less than 16 skirmishes were recorded today on the Kursk axis, with eight currently persisting. Enemy artillery fire remains relentless, having accounted for 266 shellings observed today. While no offensive operations have commenced on both the Gulyai Pole and Dniprovsk fronts today, defense forces are actively safeguarding territorial integrity and deploying countermeasures to stave off potential incursions.
