Innovations Take Center Stage At Elecrama 2025

Leading companies unite to showcase sustainable energy solutions and smart manufacturing technologies.

Eaton, Delta Electronics, ABB, and Schneider Electric showcased groundbreaking innovations at Elecrama 2025, reflecting their commitment to sustainability and the Indian market.

Elecrama 2025, held recently, served as a premier platform for leading electrical and electronics manufacturers to showcase cutting-edge technologies, reinforcing the theme of sustainable energy solutions and smart manufacturing. Major players like Eaton, Delta Electronics, ABB, and Schneider Electric unveiled exciting new products aimed at enhancing energy efficiency and supporting the 'Make in India' initiative.

Eaton, known for its intelligent power management solutions, presented the 9395 XR Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) system. This advanced power backup solution is engineered to maximize energy efficiency and reliability, ensuring seamless operation for mission-critical infrastructure, including data centers and industrial facilities. With this launch, Eaton emphasizes its focus on delivering sustainable customer-centric power solutions. Alongside the UPS, Eaton expanded its renewable energy portfolio by introducing low-voltage to medium-voltage switchgear solutions, including Air Circuit Breakers (ACBs) and Molded Case Circuit Breakers (MCCBs) intended for rooftop solar systems and industrial applications.

Syed Sajjadh Ali, Managing Director of Eaton's Electrical Sector for India, stated, "Our presence at Elecrama 2025 reaffirms Eaton’s dedication to the ‘Make in India’ initiative. We are proud to manufacture high-performance, sustainable, and reliable power solutions right here in India." This launch correlates with Eaton's broader strategy to ramp up production of its RVAC Ring Main Units (RMUs), which are now outfitted with digital interfaces for enhanced, connected power distribution.

At the same time, Delta Electronics made waves with its D-Bot series Collaborative Robots (Cobots). Designed for India's smart manufacturing sector, these Cobots feature advanced 6-axis functionality with payloads of up to 30 kg and speeds reaching 200 degrees per second. Delta also launched the 240kW DC Fast EV Charger, which is equipped with advanced connectivity options such as OCPP compatibility and real-time monitoring capabilities for commercial applications. This strategic move underlines Delta’s long-term commitment to boosting India's electric vehicle infrastructure.

Jimmy Yiin, Executive Vice President of Delta's Global Business Operations, emphasized the importance of India's market, stating, "India is beneath our global vision for sustainable growth, innovation, and digital transformation." With Delta's manufacturing facility located at Krishnagiri, the company is focusing on local innovation and the efficiency of its products.

ABB also marked its presence with the launch of its latest modular switches and accessories, named LIORA. This product is aimed at urban interiors and adheres to the Bureau of Indian Standards, representing ABB's commitment to local manufacturing. LIORA is crafted to suit diverse environments, available with various functionalities to meet both upgrade and new installation needs.

ABB’s celebrations at Elecrama are particularly poignant as this year marks the 75th anniversary of their operations in India, reflecting on their significant technological contributions to the nation’s industrial and social progress.

Moving forward, Schneider Electric showcased its extensive range of electrical and automation solutions aimed at accelerating India's energy transition. This aligns with their commitment to the 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' movement, which seeks to bolster India's self-sufficiency. Olivier Blum, CEO of Schneider Electric, stated, "India is playing a strong role in driving next-generation innovations across energy management and industrial automation."

Some notable innovations unveiled by Schneider Electric include the GM AirSeT, which employs pure-air insulation technology, and advanced digital solutions for energy management. Their extensive initiatives aim to empower industries to improve their digitization processes and commit to sustainability through advanced automation.

Throughout Elecrama 2025, these companies highlighted their respective technological advancements and reinforced their commitment to contribute to India's growth aspirations. The event, organized by the Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers' Association (IEEMA), served as not just a showcase for products but also as a platform for industry discussions reflecting the future of the electrical and electronics industry.

With India's growing focus on sustainable energy solutions, the product launches at Elecrama 2025 signal significant shifts toward smarter manufacturing and energy management practices. The commitment from companies to bring innovative products to the market not only caters to current demands but also sets the stage for future developments within the sector.
