Recently, outstanding achievements have been recorded from schools across Bali, Central Java, and the Kabupaten Belitung Timur, highlighting the spirit of competition and the hard work of students.
The Taekwondo team from SMAN Bali Mandara demonstrated their prowess at the Buleleng 2024 Taekwondo Championship, which took place on December 22, 2024. This prestigious event, held at GOR Bhuana Patra Singaraja, allowed the athletes to showcase their skills, earning top spots across nearly every category they entered. Remarkably, Ni Putu Sudiasih took home the gold medal for the SMA under 49 female category, with I Gusti Bagus Marvel Dwi Saputra lifting the trophy for the SMA under 48A male category. Other victorious participants included Ni Luh Putu Mulyadi, I Made Sri Atmaje, and several others who secured second and third positions, marking their school as a formidable presence at the competition.
Luh Emy Kertiasih, the instructor of Taekwondo at SMAN Bali Mandara, expressed her pride, stating, "Prestasi ini membuktikan bahwa SMAN Bali Mandara mampu bersaing di tingkat kabupaten bahkan lebih tinggi. Semoga pencapaian ini memotivasi siswa lain untuk turut berprestasi." Meanwhile, the achievements kept rolling with the Gema Surya Persada (GSP) marching band from SMP Muhammadiyah Plus Salatiga, which shone brightly at the Demak Marching Band Competition IV, also on December 22, 2024. GSP claimed the title of Overall Champion for the middle school level, outperforming numerous teams across Central Java. Their success was multifaceted, securing first place across several categories, including Concert, Colour Guard, Mayoret, and Music Performance, along with second place finishes for Field Commander and Musicality.
Head of SMP Muhammadiyah Plus Salatiga, Sutomo MAg, acknowledged the hard work of the team, saying, "Alhamdulillah, prestasi ini adalah bukti nyata dari kerja keras, disiplin, dan semangat pantang menyerah yang ditunjukkan oleh seluruh anggota tim Gema Surya Persada." He emphasized the importance of teamwork and parental support, which fueled the marching band's triumphant march to victory.
On another front, recognition was awarded to the Dinas Komunikasi, Informatika, Statistik, dan Persandian (Diskominfo SP) of Kabupaten Belitung Timur for their remarkable achievements in archiving oversight. The department received the prestigious second-place award within their category, achieving a commendable score of 84.83 during the internal archiving oversight activities for 2024. This recognition, presented to the head of Diskominfo SP, Bayu Priyambodo, on December 19, 2024, underlines the department's commitment to effective document management and compliance with archiving regulations.
Bayu expressed gratitude for the efforts of his team, sharing their strategy, "Kami berharap semua upaya ini dapat terus ditingkatkan agar ke depan kami mampu mengelola dan melakukan pengawasan arsip dengan lebih optimal." Meanwhile, Darsana Nugraha, one of the diligent archivists, echoed the importance of having organized records, stating, "Arsip adalah tanggung jawab yang harus dikelola dengan baik.
