Candidates can now download their hall tickets online ahead of the exams scheduled for May.

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has officially released the admit cards for the CA Intermediate and Final examinations scheduled for May 2025. Candidates are now able to download their hall tickets from the ICAI eServices portal at eservices.icai.org by logging in with their credentials. This release comes as a significant milestone for aspirants preparing for these important examinations.

The CA Final exams are set to commence with Group I papers on May 2, 4, and 6, followed by Group II on May 8, 10, and 13. Meanwhile, the Intermediate examinations will run from May 3 to May 14, following a similar group-wise format. Additionally, the Foundation-level tests are scheduled for May 15, 17, 19, and 21, with admit cards for Foundation expected to be released by the last week of April 2025.

To access their admit cards, candidates will need their SSP ID and password. The hall ticket will include essential details such as the candidate's full name, photograph, registration number, roll number, groups appearing for, exam center name, complete address, and the date and time of each paper, along with important candidate instructions and guidelines.

For candidates looking to download their ICAI CA May 2025 admit card, the process is straightforward. Here are the steps:

  • Access the official portal: Begin by visiting the ICAI’s official eServices portal at eservices.icai.org.

  • Navigate to the admit card section: On the homepage, locate and click on the specific link for downloading admit cards related to the CA Intermediate or CA Final examinations, depending on your registration.

  • Log in with your credentials: Use your registered user ID and password to sign in to your student dashboard. Ensure that your login details are entered accurately to avoid access issues.

  • Review the displayed information: Once logged in, your admit card will be available for viewing. Carefully examine all the details mentioned, including your name, photograph, exam group, center, and schedule. If any discrepancies are found, report them immediately to ICAI for rectification.

  • Download and print the hall ticket: After verifying the information, download the admit card and take a clear printout. Candidates must carry a physical (printed) copy of the admit card to the examination hall, as digital copies will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Despite some candidates reporting that the links to download the CA admit card for intermediate and final exams are not yet visible, officials expect that the link activation will occur soon. Candidates are advised to keep checking the official website for updates.

It’s important to note that candidates must carry a printed copy of their admit card along with a valid photo ID to the examination center. Without these documents, candidates may not be allowed to appear for the examination. Therefore, it is crucial to cross-verify the details mentioned on the admit cards. In case of any mistakes or discrepancies, candidates should immediately contact the ICAI helpline or visit the nearest regional office for assistance.

The ICAI has clarified that admit cards will not be sent via post and must be downloaded online. This measure emphasizes the importance of digital access in today’s educational landscape, allowing students to manage their exam preparations more efficiently.

As the CA Final exams approach, candidates are reminded of the structure of the tests. The CA Intermediate exam consists of eight subjects divided into two groups. Group 1 includes Accounting, Corporate and Other Laws, Cost and Management Accounting, and Taxation. Group 2 covers Advanced Accounting, Auditing and Assurance, Enterprise Information Systems and Strategic Management, Financial Management, and Economics for Finance. Similarly, the CA Final exam is split into two groups, covering advanced topics necessary for a successful career in accounting.

To pass the CA Foundation exam, candidates must achieve at least 40 marks in each subject and an overall aggregate of 50%. Those who achieve an overall aggregate score of 70% or more will be awarded a “Pass with Distinction” status. This recognition adds an extra layer of motivation for candidates striving to excel.

The ICAI also plans to publish the list of toppers and pass percentages along with the results, further adding to the competitive spirit among candidates. This transparency not only helps to maintain the integrity of the examination process but also encourages students to aim high.

In summary, the release of the admit cards for the CA Intermediate and Final examinations marks an essential step in the preparation journey for many aspiring chartered accountants. With clear instructions available for downloading the admit cards and the importance of verifying details, candidates are urged to stay vigilant and proactive as they approach their exam dates.

As the examination dates draw near, the excitement and anxiety among candidates are palpable. With the right preparation and adherence to guidelines, they can look forward to a successful examination period. For more details and updates, candidates are encouraged to visit the official ICAI website regularly.
