Hulu Unveils Upcoming November Treats To Boost Streaming Experience

From Ben Stiller's heartwarming comedy to holiday classics, Hulu's November slate has something for everyone

Hulu is gearing up for a festive November 2024, with its lineup promising something for everyone—from heartwarming holiday films to gripping crime dramas.

One standout addition is the original comedy film Nutcrackers, directed by David Gordon Green and featuring Ben Stiller. Set to premiere on November 29, this movie marks Stiller's first starring role in seven years. Following its debut at the Toronto International Film Festival, where it garnered positive reactions, Nutcrackers follows Stiller as he navigates the chaos of caring for his orphaned nephews on their family farm. The film also stars Linda Cardellini, Edi Patterson, and four real-life brothers making their acting debut. The story is inspired by the brothers' own experiences on their family farm, reflecting the heart and humor audiences can expect from this holiday film.

Regarding the Hulu Originals set to debut, Interior Chinatown, premiering on November 19, is based on Charles Yu’s acclaimed novel. This drama follows Jimmy O. Yang’s character, who, as a background actor, witnesses a crime, blending layers of fiction with compelling storytelling. Another highlight is Say Nothing, arriving on November 14. This FX limited series delves deep—over four decades—into the troubled history of Northern Ireland through the abduction of Jean McConville, weaving personal tales against the backdrop of historical events.

Documentary enthusiasts won't be left out either. The Honorable Shyne, which debuts on November 18, chronicles the life of Moses “Shyne” Barrow, from his rise as a recording artist to his political career, giving insights not just about the man but also about the cultural backdrop of Belize.

Adding to the lightheartedness, celebrated comedian Jim Gaffigan brings his latest special The Skinny on November 22, part of Hulu’s new comedy series brand Hulu Laughing Now. Gaffigan dives humorously deep, tackling topics from appetite suppressants to the trials of parenting teenagers.

For fans of country music, It’s All Country will be available starting November 15, showcasing significant performances and important figures throughout country music history, executive produced by Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning. Highlighting performances will be part of the 58th Annual CMA Awards, set to stream on November 21.

Holiday cheer will be felt throughout the month, with classic films scheduled such as Elf and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation available from November 27. Anticipation builds for various Hallmark movies peppered throughout the month alongside beloved specials like Family Guy’s Christmas special airing on November 25.
