HP Unveils New AI Products At Amplify Conference

The company introduces innovative solutions for the future of work and gaming

At the recent Amplify Conference, HP Inc. (NYSE: HPQ) unveiled a series of innovative products and services designed to enhance the future of work, empowering employees and businesses to create and manage their workflows effectively. The company introduced over 80 new PC models, AI-integrated printers for small to medium-sized businesses (SMBs), and upgrades to its Workforce Experience Platform, all intended to drive corporate growth and professional success.

Companies and employees alike are seeking better work experiences and technology that enhances productivity, from seamless device connectivity to AI-driven solutions that promote creativity and collaboration.

HP is accelerating the development of PCs optimized for Windows 11 to support the latest technologies, including the Copilot+ PCs, which aim to make work feel less like a chore. The redesigned HP EliteBook 8 G1i 14-inch Notebook AI PC is tailored for enterprise users, delivering AI-driven performance enhancements. It boasts up to 50 TOPS of processing power, improving multitasking by up to 224% and accelerating AI tasks by up to 43 times compared to previous non-NPU models.

Furthermore, the HP EliteDesk 8 Series introduces powerful and secure AI capabilities to the desktop portfolio, making it ideal for project managers and employees managing complex projects. This desktop PC is the world's first to protect against quantum computer attacks, combining high performance with energy efficiency to reduce operational costs.

Designed for remote workers, the HP EliteStudio 8 AiO G1i is the first commercial PC globally to integrate KVM through HP Device Switch, allowing users to connect their laptops with a single cable for charging and peripheral access. The OmniBook X Series targets creators, featuring a 14-inch display that folds 360 degrees for versatile creative work, and a larger 17.3-inch model for substantial projects. Users can select from Intel Ultra or AMD Ryzen processors to suit their needs.

HP is also launching new AI software that enhances productivity on AI PCs. The HP AI Companion, a built-in AI software, assists with research tasks by providing answers and insights without requiring an internet connection. This feature is expected to be available in the upcoming spring, along with voice command modes and keylogger protection to enhance user experience and data security.

HP Go is set to deliver seamless global connectivity for hybrid workers with independent network switching, advanced device tracking, and simplified settings, catering to mobile professionals. The HP EliteBook 6 G1q, powered by Snapdragon X Series chips, will be the first AI PC to support 5G and zero-touch functionality.

Additionally, the Poly Camera Pro introduces AI-driven features like Magic Background and Presenter Overlay, transforming virtual interactions and video conferencing into engaging experiences. HP is also redefining document printing and management for consumers through new AI-powered features that simplify tasks and enhance the printing experience for SMBs. The first feature uses AI to summarize documents and draft emails, allowing users to forward them via email or messaging platforms easily.

The second feature focuses on automatic editing and data protection recommendations, ensuring sensitive information remains secure without relying on cloud systems. These innovations aim to simplify operations and enhance security measures for document management in small and medium-sized businesses.

HP's LaserJet Enterprise 8000 Series Printers are touted as the world's first to defend against quantum computer attacks, providing robust hardware security for organizations requiring high-security printing solutions that align with Zero Trust architecture.

HP's commitment to employee growth is reflected in the enhancements to the HP Workforce Experience Platform (WXP), which now includes AI Sentiment Analysis and Fleet Explorer, empowering IT departments with actionable insights. Mohamed Ala Saayed, Senior Director of Projects and Fellow at Frost & Sullivan, noted, "Over 60% of PC users often use their devices for both work and gaming."

New gaming products from OMEN and HyperX were also announced, including the OMEN 16 Slim Gaming Laptop, which redefines portable gaming with a sleek design and superior performance powered by the Intel® Core™ Ultra 9 285H processor and NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 5070 GPU. The OMEN Transcend 14 Gaming Laptop has been updated to deliver significant CPU and GPU performance improvements, providing up to 25% faster processing speeds.

The HyperX Cloud III S Wireless Gaming Headset offers exceptional comfort and realistic sound quality, boasting over 120 hours of battery life with 2.4GHz connectivity and up to 200 hours in Bluetooth mode. This headset features a flexible design with both detachable and non-detachable microphones, enhancing the gaming experience.
