According to Sheriff Ed Gonzalez, deputies responded to the first incident at approximately 10:45 a.m. after receiving reports about a man found dead on the 5600 block of Aldine Bender. Authorities confirmed the man, believed to be in his late 30s, was discovered with multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Upon their arrival, they discovered another man had been shot, this time suffering injuries to his upper body.
Interestingly, this neighborhood had been the site of police activity just hours prior. Deputies went to the area around 11 p.m. on Friday night following reports of gunfire. Authorities searched for shell casings and potential victims but found nothing significant at the time. The identity of this victim has also not yet been revealed.
Officials reported mutual cooperation among various divisions of the Harris County Sheriff's Office, which has taken the lead on both investigations. The office has encouraged community members who may have any pertinent information or surveillance footage from the areas involved to step forward.
