Riku Segawa, previously selected for the U18 national team, led his squad with impressive stats: 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 blocks. His formidable presence on the court created opportunities for his teammates as 2nd-year player Nagisa Sato contributed 11 points and 1st-year sensation Hayato Nakamura added 12 points to bolster their lead.

The first-seeded powerhouse edged past Homu Gakuen High School with a narrow victory of 65-62 after overcoming adversity during the game. Despite allowing their opponents to claw back to take the lead mid-match, Seika finally triumphed thanks to consistent scoring performances from Yasaf Bolanle Aisha and Meili Hashimoto, both of whom scored key points down the stretch.
Seika Girls’ memorable trip to the finals was one underscored by perfect teamwork and timely scoring bursts. Adding to this, Seika Girls' High School defeated Sakura Gakuen High School with a close 66-65 victory, showcasing their ardent drive for three consecutive championships, as they aim for the ultimate title of high school girls' basketball.
December 26 continued to build fascination as teams moved to the next rounds. The anticipation grew as the dynamic competition continues to witness fierce matchups. Next up, Kyoto Seika Gakuen will duel against their rivals, with hopes pinned high for advancing to the semifinals.
