HID Officials Linked To Alleged Coup Preparations

A shocking investigating report reveals military units poised for violence during emergency martial law declarations.

On the day martial law was declared, 40 elite agents from the HID (High-Intensity Division) were dispatched to key locations around the Seoul metropolitan area. Their mission was alarming: to kidnap election commission staff and destroy military facilities such as airports and missile defense sites. This plan has raised serious concerns as evidence of premeditated insurrection continues to surface.

The recent appointment of Colonel Lee to lead the HID division has drawn scrutiny, especially since he was replaced abruptly by one of General Moon Sang-ho's closest aides. This transition occurred just months before the insurrection attempt on December 3, signaling possible military manipulation of the situation. Lee also had past ties with figures known to clash with the general, which only adds layers to the investigation.

Analyzing the details, the HID unit—often dubbed the "pig brigade"—was originally mobilized for tasks including the kidnapping of officials from the National Election Commission and attacking military airports. The unusual reassignment of its commander, which typically lasts two years, occurred just after one year and is already receiving criticism for its timing. The newly appointed commander, closely linked to General Moon, is trained for covert operations and intelligence management.

Colonel Lee, who took command, began procuring combat uniforms for his team almost immediately—specifically, North Korean military attire. The recruitments were completed by mid-November, just weeks before the fast-approaching emergency declaration. This included orders for combat-ready personnel and military training focused on localized warfare, setting the stage for what would be coordinated violence.

On September 12, General Moon instructed Colonel Lee to prepare for action by demonstrating swift operational capabilities among the enlisted, insisting on training 40 agents to be ready for emergency maneuvers. This instruction demonstrates the forethought and planning behind the operations waiting to be executed. Lawmaker Lee Kwang-hee revealed chilling details about the stockpile of weapons, stating, "Around mid-November, I received C4 explosives, followed by one pistol and five magazines. The targets included Cheongju Airport, the THAAD location in Seongju, and Daegu Airport." Such admissions highlight the serious threat the HID operations posed.

Despite claims from the Ministry of Defense indicating all HID personnel had returned to their bases, opposition party members remain vigilant. They express concerns about the potential for these trained agents to initiate future missions. Lawmaker Kim Byeong-joo noted, "We need to keep watching to see what other teams might be moving. The black team operates in decentralized cells, so they know only their assignments and not what other units may be planning." This indicates deep-rooted apprehensions about the remaining apparatus for potential attacks.

Adding to the tension is the fact Colonel Lee continues to serve as the commander of the unit, without any disciplinary action being taken against him. His leadership becomes even more troubling when considering the acknowledged involvement of HID agents supposed to attack civilians and military establishments. The opposition is pressing for accountability and transparency with these developments.

Democratic Party members are demanding thorough investigations as clues continue surfacing about the HID’s intended methods. The revelations are alarming not only for political representatives but for citizens increasingly aware of the precariousness of their democratic institutions. This scenario creates urgent dialogues about military overreach and potential coup structures waiting to emerge just beyond the horizon.

Nonetheless, as the spotlight on HID intensifies, questions arise on the integrity of military leadership and whether the transformation of military roles is merely bureaucratic or potentially orchestrated for darker intents. The situation reflects broader issues at stake within national security and confidence from the public perspective. The handling of Colonel Lee and the remainder of the HID will surely influence future political dynamics and citizen trust in the government.

Real-time analyses and critiques from political actors highlight the urgent need for reforms and oversight mechanisms, especially as actions by military units continue raising alarms among lawmakers and citizens alike. The unsettling potential for violence directed at civil bodies has stirred up debates concerning the boundaries of military authority within democratic structures.

Consequently, as the investigation progresses, it remains imperative to detail the threads connecting HID operations to insurrection preparations. Legislative and regulatory frameworks will need reassessment to safeguard against similar threats. Public scrutiny will be key to unraveling this mystery—ensuring accountability from those entrusted with the security of nation and providing strategic transparency to restore citizen confidence.
