According to the Ukrainian General Staff, there were over 139 clashes reported within just one day, with the majority occurring on the frontline near Pokrovsk, located in the Donetsk Oblast. Ukrainian defenders have managed to repel approximately 40 attacks from Russian troops as the latter seek to control supply routes to Pokrovsk.
Viktor Trehubow, the spokesman for the Ukrainian army's Chortyca group, has emphasized the Russian military's relentless efforts to bypass Pokrovsk from the west. Trehubow noted, "Russians have not been sparing their soldiers there," highlighting the ferocity of the assaults undertaken by Russian forces. He elaborated, stating, "Russians are trying to 'stick' to small settlements to the south and west of Pokrovsk," reflecting their tactical approach amid intense combat.

Trehubow mentioned, "Russians have sustained 'crazy' losses, yet they continue to attack with numerous small groups," signifying the severe toll on the Russian military as they attempt to secure control of the region.
The fierce confrontations come as air raid alerts were sounded across almost all of Ukraine during the night and morning, showcasing the dire security situation nationwide.
