Hayato Iwamoto Shines On TBS Special With Snow Man

Kimura joins Snow Man for unforgettable Disney-themed adventure and dance battles

On December 20, TBS aired the much-anticipated special edition of the popular variety show "Sore Snow Man ni Yarasete Kudasai," featuring special guest Takashi Kimura. This episode marks the ninth installment of the beloved segment "Dance No Kankopi Revolution," where participants vie to perfectly replicate famous dance moves.

Hayato Iwamoto, alongside the full ensemble of Snow Man—comprised of Hikaru Iwamoto, Tatsuya Fukazawa, Raul, Shota Watanabe, Koji Mukai, Ryohei Abe, Ren Meguro, Ryota Miyadate, and Daisuke Sakuma—joined Kimura for two engaging segments. The first focus, "Dance No Kankopi Revolution," challenges contestants to flawlessly mimic dance routines from well-known songs, with Iwamoto making notable contributions.

This special episode shines brightly with various dance performances, presenting fan-favorite teams such as the "Dancing and Talking Kankopi Regular Team," which includes Sota Hanamura from Da-iCE, Hayato Komori from GENERATIONS, and Kaito Matsukura from Travis Japan. A standout moment is highlighted when Dream Ami, making her debut appearance, leads former AKB48 member Minami Minegishi, as well as actress Rikka Ihara and Mashiro from Kep1er, through one last intense battle of skills.

"Our audience knows we’ve got talent!" remarked Iwamoto as he prepared to showcase his skills alongside the seasoned cast. The excitement escalated as teams not only aimed to perform accurately but also engage with the audience, making for entertaining television.

Alongside the dance showcase, the episode featured Kimura and the Snow Man boys taking on the "Tokyo DisneySea Fantasy Springs Majority Vote Tour." This unique concept allows the group to experience attractions and dining options at the newly opened Fantasy Springs, which debuted its grand opening earlier this year.

Kimura shared his heartwarming first-time experience at the park, stating, "This is my first visit to Tokyo DisneySea, and I couldn't be more thrilled to be here with Snow Man!" The warmth of the moment highlighted the engaging dynamics between the participants, as they made decisions based on majority votes on which attractions to experience.

Each decision represented the collective voice of the members, creating thrill and anticipation for what lay next. "It’s all about the spirit of fun and friendship," said Watanabe, adding to the light-hearted atmosphere of the episode, where holiday cheer around the Disney park infusion was palpable.

The episode merges competition with humor as Kimura and Snow Man navigate various whimsical situations drawn from their votes as they explore Fantasy Springs—a place well-known for immersing guests in beloved Disney stories. "We were all like kids today!" exclaimed Mukai, reflecting on their experiences together.

Meanwhile, performances during the "Dance No Kankopi Revolution" segment included tributes to songs such as SMAP’s hit "Ganbarimashou," and battles featuring JUNG KOOK’s complex choreography. Dancers performed high-level moves, showcasing their agility and teamwork as the show progressed.

One of the biggest surprises was Kimura's grand entrance via conveyor belt, where he astounded everyone with his performance of difficult choreography, leaving both contestants and viewers equally perplexed and entertained.

"This moment felt surreal, and I am grateful for the chance to showcase what I can do," Kimura stated, enthused about his surprise contribution to the show. This spectacular feat highlights the variety and excitement of the program, which continues to attract fans from multiple demographics.

Snow Man’s diverse array of talents was on full display, as they invigorated the broadcast with their charm and dedication. Iwamoto’s energy and creativity provided warmth to the episode, which was thoroughly enjoyed by fans who tuned in.

Following its airing at 7:00 PM JST, the special maintained its regular show slot with competitions remaining at 8:00 PM each Friday. The viewer experience feels particularly bright as the seasons shift toward the holidays, ensuring this episode immerses fans deeply within the festive atmosphere.

The show aired live on December 20, 2024, and continues to touch many lives through its fun concepts and joyful interactions. Feelings of nostalgia run deep as fans applaud both newly celebrated moments alongside rich traditions.

Overall, this episode of "Sore Snow Man ni Yarasete Kudasai" successfully interweaves dance, collaboration, and heartfelt engagements with delightful experiences, enticing viewers to return weekly for more exceptional moments.
