In addition to the exciting lineup, the Gurtenfestival is implementing several improvements to enhance the festival experience. A new access route will open, allowing guests to reach the festival grounds via a footpath from the Spiegel/Blinzern bus stop. This new path is expected to alleviate congestion, particularly during peak times when popular acts are performing.
Moreover, the festival organizers have announced an increase in toilet facilities, ensuring that there will be one toilet available for every 48 visitors. This is a significant improvement compared to the typical ratio of 100:1 seen at many other events, highlighting the festival's commitment to providing a comfortable experience for attendees.
Another noteworthy addition is the installation of a fourth stage, which will be located where the Gurten slopes down to Köniz. However, it has been confirmed that no music will be played on this stage, and further details about its purpose will be announced later.
Christoph "Biru" Haller, one of the festival programmers, expressed enthusiasm about the diverse lineup, stating, "I think we've achieved an exciting mix." The festival aims to attract a younger audience with performances from emerging artists like Lola Young and Peso Pluma, who will be making their only Swiss appearances at the Gurtenfestival this year.
The festival organizers have emphasized that tickets are still available for all days and categories, and they anticipate a surge in demand as the event approaches. With the exciting lineup and improved facilities, the Gurtenfestival promises to be a memorable experience for all attendees.
As the countdown to the festival begins, music lovers are already buzzing with excitement about the chance to see their favorite artists perform live in the picturesque setting of the Gurten mountain.
