The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) announced the results for the Class 10 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations today, May 8, 2025, at 8 AM. Students can access their results through the official website, gseb.org, using their roll numbers.
This year, the GSEB conducted the Class 10 exams from February 27 to March 10, 2025, across 989 centers. A total of 746,892 regular students participated in the examinations, with 620,532 students qualifying for certification, achieving an overall pass percentage of 83.08%. This marks a slight increase from last year's pass percentage of 82.56%.
Among the repeat examinees, 78,613 students appeared for the exams, with a pass percentage of 32.26%. Additionally, the Gujarat State Open School (GSOS) saw 18,553 candidates, recording a pass percentage of 27.18%. The differently abled category had 138 candidates, while 4,165 appeared under general criteria.
To pass the GSEB Class 10 exam, students must secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject and an aggregate of 33% overall. This year, a total of 1,580 candidates benefitted from a 20% passing standard relaxation, with 535 successfully qualifying.

- Click on the result link for Gujarat GSEB Board Class 10th SSC 2025.
- Enter the required details, such as the roll number, in the designated space and submit.
- Your result will appear on the screen; save and download it for future reference.
In addition to the official website, students can access their results via WhatsApp by sending their six-digit seat number to 6357300971. Results are also available on DigiLocker for those who have registered.
Students are advised to collect their original mark sheets from their respective schools a few days after the result declaration. The original copies of the marksheets will be provided by the board to the schools shortly after the online results are announced.
The GSEB has also announced that students who are dissatisfied with their marks can apply for re-evaluation 15 days after the results are declared. The re-evaluation fee is set at Rs. 100 per subject and Rs. 500 for all subjects.
In 2024, the SSC exams were conducted from March 11 to March 22, with results announced on May 11. Last year, the overall pass percentage was recorded at 82.56%, which was an 18% rise from 2023’s 64.62%. Notably, girls outperformed boys in 2024, achieving a pass percentage of 86.69% compared to the boys' 79.12%.
As many as 70 schools reported 0% results, while 1,389 schools achieved a perfect 100% pass rate. This year’s results reflect a continued improvement in student performance across the state, highlighting the efforts of both students and educators.
