The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) and West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) are gearing up for the 2025 board examinations, with important information about hall tickets and admit cards now available for students.
The GSEB is set to issue SSC hall tickets for students taking their exams scheduled from February 27 to March 13, 2025. These hall tickets are imperative, as they contain all necessary details such as the candidate's name, roll number, exam dates, subjects, and location of the exam center. Students must obtain their hall ticket before the exams to be eligible to sit for them. Regular students will receive their hall tickets from their respective schools, whereas private candidates can download them directly from the official GSEB website by following the steps on gseb.org.
Once downloaded or received, it is important for students to verify the information printed on the hall ticket. Important details to check include the full name, roll number, exam dates, subjects, and exam center address. Any discrepancies must be reported immediately to school authorities or GSEB to rectify any errors. Students are reminded to arrive at least 30 minutes early to their exam centers on the day of their exams, bringing along their hall ticket and necessary stationery.
Meanwhile, the WBCHSE is also set to distribute the HS admit cards for the Class 12 exams. The release date for these admit cards is February 7, 2025, at 10:30 AM, and they will be available at designated distribution centers. WBCHSE exams are scheduled to take place from March 3 to March 18, 2025. Students are encouraged to collect their admit cards as soon as they become available to avoid any last-minute hurdles.
Adding to the important details, the WBCHSE has announced the reopening of online enrollment for the HS exam from February 12 to February 13, 2025, with late fees applicable. The extension of this registration period aims to accommodate those students who missed the initial deadline, allowing them to participate without significant penalty. The council stated, "The online enrolment of the students for Higher Secondary Examination, 2025 is reopened for 02 days from 12.02.2025 to 13.02.2025 with fine." Students applying during this window must submit required documentation through their school principals, including attendance records and other necessary certifications.
For students participating in these upcoming exams, preparation is key. Not only should students aim to revise relevant subject material thoroughly, but they should also maintain their health—ensuring adequate sleep, consuming nutritious meals, and staying hydrated plays equally important roles. Some practical exam day instructions include arriving early, carrying the correct documentation, and adhering to strict guidelines prohibiting electronic devices like smartphones or calculators.
Both GSEB and WBCHSE are committed to ensuring smooth conduct for students sitting for their board exams. With the exam timetable and admit card distribution just around the corner, it is imperative for students to stay updated on any changes, preparation recommendations, and official announcements.
Best of luck to all students as they prepare for these important examinations!
